The staff here is always really friends and knowledgeable when it comes to tanning. It is a bit pricey but there isn’t many indoor tanning places in Hawaii. Its perfect if you are trying to get tan for a competition or wedding!

DONOT use this business for spray tanning!!! Pay the extra $ 20 and go to town and have it done. I used their stand up spray tanning bed and it was a mistake. I used this location because it was close and convenient. What a mistake. You get what you pay for. The bed is not the newer more up to date type that most salons use. This one sprays your front and back only(very blotchy application) and does not do your sides like most newer stand up spray beds. The entire left side of my body is a blotchy mess and the entire right side of my body is still as white as when I went in. The bed needs major maintenance. It is a very cheap bed.

Just started here so far so good, except prices a little high to get access to most of the beds, but there isn’t many tanning options here in hawaii. The staff could be a little friendlier.

2 years later and I’m still a repeat customer. People complaining about the cost need to understand you’re in Hawaii now, bruh! Try going to another tanning salon on the rock, and you’ll find the same prices. Don’t want to pay that? Then go beach! I have no problem paying $ 90 a month when I don’t want a white butt!

Two stars for cost alone, setting it extremely high because they are the only one in the area. It costs $ 101.61a month for the top of the line bed; which they only have one of(they say 3-month minimum, really it’s 4 because it doesn’t include the month you cancel, meaning… once you cancel, you have to pay for an entire month… crazy, I know). So, all in all I went tanning exactly 19 times(I know this number is accurate, because they send a confirmation e-mail after each tanning sessions) and paid $ 406.44. That’s way overpriced. Also, it will leave untanned areas on the lower back … I say, look somewhere else for your tanning needs.

I had a great experience at the Kaneohe location today. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. The salon was clean and easy to find. So happy I found this place. I would defiantly recommend it to everyone.

I call this place to ask how much unlimited tanning would cost for a year… And I’m in the military… The answer was $ 800… You can’t be serious

The woman running the salon is so incredibly rude!!! Walked through the door and the woman talked 7 minutes straight on the phone giving me the one minute sign. Then went in for a spray tan where she refused to spray my face leaving my face a different color then the rest of my body! I hate that she wouldn’t listen to me or what the customer wanted but instead kept insulting how I looked. I highly recommend that you do not go here. I ended up going to get my spray tan done in Kapaluu because they know what they are doing and treated me nice! I was very upset about my experience at Suntime Indoor Tanning in Aiea!

Ya I’m a dude but when you work as much as I do you don’t get time to go out much on the weekdays and when ya go out on weekends you wanna look tan! Great staff, price is alright, I’m used to it being cheaper but then again I’m on the most expensive plan for all the beds. I prefer the stand up so I usually go for the plan that has that.

I have been to a few salons here and I like this one the best. Mainly because they are two minutes from my house, but also because they offer military discount, free tans with purchase of lotion in the store, cheaper sessions when you buy in bulk and they are all super awesome. Started from the bottom, the low pressure beds for like 15 minutes, and now I’m here at high pressure vertical beds for 10 minutes. The laydown beds are for starters, or those without much color. Their drawbacks include light spots where your skin touched the bed and produced sweat. Upside is they’re easy on your skin. High pressure beds are the heat(hardeehar) because they create the best tan in the shortest time. Get in on it. I seriously look like a walking bronze statue and it’s awesome.

Great place, best beds I’ve ever used. Touch screen controls that let you turn it on(so you have plenty of time to undress, put on lotion), the volume of music, fans. Bit pricey, but worth it.

I just started my tanning here. I am going to upgrade to the Platinum membership plan after I use up the rest of my paid sessions… The girl that helped me was super informative and polite :) I was going to go to a place in Kunia but I did not care for the beds there even though it is actually closer to my house. I would rather drive farther to go to a better salon. Sun Time stole me away :) Prices are great and the selection of beds and the variation of choices for membership and how much you want to go are better in my opinion at Sun Time.

So one birthday my BFF bought me ten sessions of tanning from Suntime. I thought, «ho major kine hint that I’m super pale». I was a little hesitant because of Final Destination 3 tanning bed scene. However, later that day I examined my body in the mirror and yup my butt and most of my body was the color of firm Aloha Tofu. It was pretty gross and sickly looking. So, I gave tanning a try and I am a fan! Here’s how it works: 1. Purchase a package and set up your account.- I went with the level 3 series of 10. 2. Bring an indoor tanning lotion. I was lucky to find a Hawaiian Tropic one on the mainland at Walmart $ 10-ish and the buggah works well. The fancy lotions at the shop are expensive. 3. Get eye safety goggles(the shop sells um’ cheap) 4. Scan your finger 5. go to your room, get undressed, lotion up, put eye goggles on and press start. 6. in 8 – 12 minutes you will have a TAN!!! When you return to tan again you just scan your finger and repeat step 5 I like that I don’t have to spend half a day at the beach to acquire a sun-kissed look. I also like that I do not have tan lines, my whole body is the same color. I would say after 5 visits you have a tan that looks natural and healthy! I personally recommend the vertical beds(the ones you stand up)! Happy tanning!
