Structural Pest Control

It’s taken four emails to even get them to say they’d contact me to schedule a visit to provide an estimate. Today I got an email telling me to call them to schedule. *sigh* Hello. Email. You can actually have a productive conversation AND schedule appointments by email, too! I replied saying I preferred email; we’ll see.
Hope to come back to this review to provide a nice end to the story and up the rating.

Actually, I’m going to have to deduct ½ star to a 4.5 star rating for Structural Pest Control, Inc. The worker was about 40 minutes late, but I did tell the owner that we were expecting his worker around a certain time, give or take a few minutes. They may want to perhaps provide their workers with a GPS system.
Mr. Ahlo, the President of the firm came to do my home’s estimate for ground termite treatment and met me with kindness and professionalism. He told me of the two doses that were offered, but said that as there seem to not be presence of ground termites, he said the single/​weaker concentrate dosage would do. Honesty!
He provided the pricing on the spot, and I was taken back at the pricing… how low it is NOW compared to what it cost 8 years ago back in 2004 when we had last done ground termite treatment with another vendor. As we had prior engagements, the earliest we could schedule the ground termite treatment was about 5 weeks later.
A couple of days ago, the worker showed up in one of the company’s work truck, and dressed in the company’s uniform and not scary at all and ready to get going! He went about doing his job and the holes drilled looked consistent around our house perimeter.
I was taken back when Mr. Ahlo came by while the house was being treated to just check in with his worker and with me to see or answer any questions I may have at the time.
When the work was done about 2 ½ hours later, I gave him a tip for his hard work and gave the payment to him for the services rendered, Two days later, I receive the paid invoice copy for our records
I would gladly recommend this termite firm to my friends and neighbors! How strange I found this firm, as I confused it with the name of the prior vendor we used back in 2004 since the company’s name was somewhat similar!
Oh well… good for us!
