I visited Carmen’s barbershop today for the first time after deciding another local barber shop just had too long of a wait for no good reason and this has been my experience: 1. She takes appointments and walk-ins which is excellent if you are busy. Most barbershops are walk-in. There is a barber close by, I don’t want to name names bc I don’t want it to affect their business but it has been mentioned in other reviews but I’m usually stuck there an 1.5hrs+ with only 2 people in front of me which is ridiculous. 2. She is meticulous and timely. I got a great military cut for $ 14 plus a tip which is close to the going rate around town. Even got the neck and sideburns cleaned up with a straight razor. She had great attention to detail and it looked clean all around! I hate it when I’ve been to a few other places and I have to ask them to keep touching up places since they only clipper the sides and want to call it good — I’m sure others have been there, you know, when you’re looking at the cut and don’t want to complain, shrug and think to yourself«it’ll grow back». I did not feel that way here. 3. Air conditioned, always a plus 4. Three points above are good enough.

She is very accomadating… She is fast, consistent, and yet still is particular in cutting her client’s hair. She is about $ 14 + tax… and then the tip… so, u get a good quality haircut for less than $ 20. She will take people as early as 8am and as late as 7pm in some cases…

I’m surprised no one has reviewed Carmen’s yet! I’ve been going to Carmen’s for over 8 years now and usually go in about every 3 weeks to keep the hair nice and tight. It’s $ 13 for a men’s hair cut and her shop is open 7 days a week. When you call to make an appointment… just tell her what time you are looking for and she’ll tell you what she has available. She has a steady range of customers from kids up to older women.
