Compared to the other boba places at Pearlridge this is my favorite for real fruit smoothies with boba. Payment: They ONLY accept Cash! There is a Bank of Hawaii machine in Long’s Drugs. You can also purchase something at Long’s with your debit card and they can give you cash back. There is an American Savings ATM located on the 2nd floor in front of Cookie Corner. Location: It’s located on the first floor next to Long’s Drugs. It’s located on the movie theatre side. It’s on the downtown side location of Pearlridge. Hours: It follows the same hours as the mall. Monday-Friday: 10 am-9 pm Sunday: 10 am– 6 pm Products: I come for the real fruit smoothies. They also serve powder and milk teas. I like that the boba is not warm. It’s also usually given at a nice chewy texture. They also offer snacks such as manapuas, fresh fruit, corn dogs, etc. If I’m in Pearlridge craving a real fruit smoothie I come here.

I’ve been on a hunt for the best boba/milk tea on the island ever since I moved back from Southern California. The boyfriend recommended this place to me because it’s relatively close to where I live … and Bubble-Drink is now one of my go-tos if I’m ever in the Pearlridge area. This is one of my favorite spots if I’m in the mood for a smoothie. I wouldn’t come here if I’m looking for Taiwanese-style, straight-up milk tea. However, if you’re looking for a spot with good boba and fresh flavors – in a thicker, slushy-like consistency – this is the perfect place. I came here twice so far – once with my cousin and once with my mom – and I ordered the same thing on both occasions because it was so good. There always seems to be a steady stream of people coming here, so I’m glad this little shop(located next to the Long’s entrance) is staying in business. This place is really great for slushies because they use real fruits to make all the fruity drinks. So, you don’t have to feel as guilty because you know that fruits are actually going into your smoothie! You can see all the different ingredients when you go up to the counter to order. Here’s what I would recommend, as well as flavors I have yet to try: «Mocha»: During our first visit, my cousin got the mocha bubble drink with boba. I had a sip of hers and it was really refreshing. You could pick up on that hint of coffee, but the drink itself didn’t have a super strong coffee flavor. I’d definitely give this a try next time. «OREO»: I’m not one to get fruity flavors when it comes to slushes and desserts. I was a huge fan with this OREO bubble drink. I ordered this during both of my visits to Bubble-Drink, and both times, I got it sans boba. I did taste some of the boba from my cousin’s drink, and it was to my liking — not overly chewy, soft and squishy. However, I liked my OREO drink plain and was able to sufficiently taste the chocolate and OREO cookie bits. I really liked this slushy because the cookie bits were crushed really finely, resulting in a perfectly blended drink. «Strawberry/Banana»: My mom opted for this combo sans boba and found it really refreshing. She said it was cool and blended well, including a great mix of both flavors. It was a humid day when we visited Bubble-Drink, and she said she would order this combo again. Next time, though, she said she wants to try the«Peanut Butter-Banana» combo that’s also featured. «Grape»: This flavor isn’t on the menu, but the boyfriend said this was always one of his favorites when he would come to Bubble-Drink. On my most recent visit, I asked the girl at the counter if they still featured this flavor, and she said it was available. The boyfriend said that he always liked this one because they use fresh grapes to make the drink. If I can deviate from that OREO flavor that I like so much, maybe I’ll give this fruitier option a chance. «Chocolate»: If I’m in the mood for a no-fuss, no-frills drink, I would get the chocolate option. I’m definitely a chocoholic, so if I ever take a break from the OREO flavor(which will probably end up being my go-to), this is one that I would want to try in the future.

In comparison to the other bubble tea places in Pearlridge, I’d say this one is the best in terms of value. They have fruit options and powder options which I like. The avocado and taro are super good. This isn’t quite the place for a milk tea fix, but for a fruity boba fix, this is your place.

is located next to Longs Pearlridge. It’s cash only(like a lot of other places). For Bank of Hawaii customers, there is an ATM right inside of Longs if you need cash. Drinks are average priced and they do use fruit(not powder) although the fruits looked like they were frozen(still better than powder). 25-cents if you want your drink split into two cups. The mango smoothie was good. The pomegranate juice was good, a little on the sweet side but had a nice tart flavor to it, tasted like cranberry juice. For some reason the bubbles didn’t suck up well with the juice so I was left with no more juice at the end and a whole lot of bubbles. It looks like their normal menu used to include mostly fruit smoothies but jumping on the band wagon of milk teas, they have additional signage with some of those as well. Service was friendly.

This bubble drink place is right next to Longs Pearlridge. It’s a small store. I decided to try their avocado smoothie with boba. For 16oz cup it costed me $ 4 something. That’s about right for high mall rent. The young lady who took my order made my drink right away as I was searching for money to pay. I noticed she put some slushy ice, condensed milk, sugar water in the blender and went in the back where I couldn’t see her no more. I assume she went to get avocado. She quickly made my smoothie. My drink was nicely sealed. I was surprised how good the smoothie tasted! Maybe it’s because I didn’t expect it to taste good at all. I gotta give all the credit to the young lady who made my experience a positive one.

Got the pineapple bubble tea. A quarter of the drink tasted like it was tapioca in its own juice. Too sweet.

We often come here for some boba honeydew. The only down fall is they don’t use fresh fruit and sometimes the boba isn’t cooked all the way so it’s hard. Which sucks! The staff is usually a bunch of young girls so for the most part they are usually nice but I’ve had my share of snooty workers. The price for the drink you get isn’t something to complain about so if your looking for a little pick me up you might want to give this place a shot

I have been here a few times before, but only noticed now that the name of this place makes no sense. 1 — it is a store, not a website, and 2 — is not their website(as far as I know they do not have one). Anyway, is right next to Longs on the bottom floor of the mall. I do like how they have fresh fruit in a display case, and you can watch them take some and put it into a blender to make your drink. And the heat sealer to close the bubble teas is pretty cool too. This is just about average bubble tea. I’ve tried the passion fruit and the lychee drinks, and they had decent flavors, decent price, and generally good tapioca with occasionally inconsistent texture. Probably worth a try if you happen to be right there and need a bubble tea, but don’t go out of your way.

CASHONLY!!! Located next to Long’s in Pearlridge Downtown. I’ve been going to this little drink place for years. I love that they have fresh fruits and their drinks are always fresh. Not just thrown together with the powder and that’s it. They tend to add new drinks every so often so it’s good to mix it up a bit. Depending who is working you may get a nice person or a person who just doesn’t want to be there at all.

I honestly love this place. They have the perfect tapioca to drink ratio. However, they only get a 4-star rating because they only take cash. I suggest their Thai tea or milk tea bubble drinks on ice, not crushed. They’re amazingly delicious. I also suggest their taro. It is not to sweet and good. Their service is good. They always ask if I want my milk tea or thai tea crushed or on ice, which they never did before. The price is just right. 3.99 for a 22 oz. cup. Cheaper than some other places that don’t give as much. It’s in a convenient location and is perfect for a long stroll at the mall.

I’m not really a fan of this place. I’ve been quite a few times because I was in the mall and it sounded good. but to make a special trip there? No. It’s located right outside of Longs Drugs inside the mall. If you park downstairs in the garage, and enter the mall, you’ll see it. I’m like the others who have reviewed. I feel their drinks are so bland. They’re also pretty skimpy with the amount of tapioca they put in. I guess that is a personal preference, but when I see the pictures of their menu, I expect my drink to look similar to what I’m seeing on the board. Another thing that irks me is that they had a stamp card program, and when I finally filled up my card. I brought it in to redeem for my free bubble tea. I was told they’d discontinued the program. How convenient. for them. Months later, a friend wanted boba so we went and the girl in front of us was getting her card stamped. What the what?!? SO as of now, I don’t know if they have the program or not… but all I know is that was pretty dirty what they did.

Just came from here(8/11/13).We normally stop by because it is close and convenient and most times service is okay and bubble drinks taste good enough. Today, short hair butchy looking girl doesn’t greet, doesn’t smile, nothing! Ordered a mango and BF had the all Hawaiian. His tasted like usual and mine tasted nothing like mango. I can’t even describe the taste because it was disgusting. I told them it doesn’t taste like mango and all she did was stare. No apologies, no nothing! All she said is we can make you something else for $ 4.25. Umm how about you take the crappy mango and shove it down your throat with your attitude. Lost us as customers!!! Never again even though it is convenient!!! One star because we can’t give it no stars!

At the end of a long shopping day on way back from Ala Moana nothing better then some Boba. =) I was hanging out with family telling me should try plus I still did not hit up Pearlridge yet. I love Boba. Perfect compliment shopping and Boba right!!! It not exactly in the pretty part of the shopping center downstairs by Long Drugs. Truth be told that part of the shopping center outside the parking lot all dark and gives it hole in the wall feeling like where am I going for Boba again! lol! It worth the trouble. It small shop that literally next too Longs main entrance. They have quite few flavors not as much compare too other place been too. The one I had coconut/lychee. Ono! I felt tasted more like haupia. Nothing wrong with that because love Haupia flavor and its one of my favorites. They could have put more fresh lychee in it. Just the fact knowing they use fresh fruits always make Boba taste so much better. The tapioca balls were awesome! Felt like they could have put more but most part had tapioca balls till the end. Makes me happy! =) Sure if in the area or shopping Pearlridge Bubble-Drink definitely place would hit up again for my Boba fix.

It is inside the Pearlridge Mall! downtown? I think, but If you were trying to look for it like it was a business on the outside, wrong. It’s located by Longs Drugs. I’m not from here, so finding this place was somewhat difficult to me. The girls here are really nice and very welcoming however, their drinks are NOT. Limited selection, and I really expected my Avocado boba to have more sweetness to it, and I don’t know if was able to add extra condensed milk or something. I was just really disappointed because my drink tasted so bland, and I really wanted a decent boba/pearl slush drink. It tasted like I could’ve made a better one, OR maybe I should’ve just ordered the honeydew or taro, for some reason those are always made just right for me. I would give it a try again, but along with the selection and price. Probability of coming here again is zero.

There aren’t too many places to get a bubble drink in Pearlridge. I think the Korean restaurants in uptown and downtown serve them, but the times I tried I either hated it or liked it and got food poisoning. Bale next to Sears also makes them, but the flavors are limited and I think they are blended. I’m not a fan of the blended milk tea bubble drink. And that leads us to bubbledrinkcom located next to Longs. The milk tea is good and the pearls are yummy. It’s a good size and affordable. They also offer other drinks and food items. Not the best on the island, but the best at Pearlridge.

If a quick and refreshing bubble beverage is what you’re looking for on the way home from work, this is it. They’re located next to Longs in Pearlridge Downtown. The service is very consistent and the drinks are too. I always order the milk tea with bubbles, it has a great flavor and just enough caffeine to pick me up after a non-relaxing time in traffic. In addition to bubble drinks(flavors can be custom mixed), fruit bowls, manapua and other small snacks are available.

The drinks are pretty good. Not the best on the island, but cool and refreshing on a hot day. It’s great that they actually use real fruits in some drinks. They have a decent amount of favors to choose from as well. This place is convenient for me, so I come here to satisfy my boba cravings. The customer service kind of sucks though. The girls who work here are really uninterested in their job or they just don’t know how to smile. They seem kind of snobby like they just want you to hurry up and order so they can make your drink and you can leave so they can get back to texting. While waiting for my drink one time, I heard one girl complaining to another about having to make avocado drinks all the time, and she was cussing: O(how tacky!)

This place used to be one of my favorite bubble drink places. Having said that, I must say that the quality seems to have slipped much. The employees are clearly not motivated and doesnt seem like they want to be there. However, what I like about this place is that they use real fruit as opposed to the fake powdered stuff. Yes some are from the can and some are frozen but still better than the powder. I just talked myself into giving them another shot. hahahaha such a dufus!

This place has ok bubble drinks. I got the classic honey dew melon which was just aight. They are conveniently located right next to longs drugs in downtown Pearlridge mall in a little stand where you can’t miss. They don’t really have a big menu of drinks. You can get one of the classic bubble drinks for about 4 bucks. You can also get drinks with different toppings and fruits for a little more than 4 bucks. The staff and customer service is aight. I came on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. There was a long line. I guess because it was a hot day. The honey dew melon bubble drink that I got was ok. It was a little too icy especially when you get to the bottom of the drink. The tapioca pearls in the bubbles drinks where a kinda hard too. I think they need a tad bit softening up before serving it. There are tables and chairs around the area to enjoy your drinks just in case you are not getting it to go. Unilocal 365 Challenge #296/365

Had the Tropical Lychee, not bad. Aside from the tapioca they also put other types of Jelly in this drink. They charge just under $ 5 for this drink and it was just okay. The employees was helpful but not friendly. I’d go here if I was craving for a bubble drink, but it would be my last resort.
