An En-Thai-cing UYE @Olay’s Thai Food Express

How has it taken me this long to write a review of a UYE I helped co-​host?! Craziness!
As always, it was wonderful getting together with other Unilocalers over a delicious meal. The crazy thing about Olay’s brick and mortar is it is in the heart of Halawa and an industrial area, which can make it hard to find, but it is on the kokohead side of the street before the Crazy Shirts shop. Mind you only the first three stalls on the left as you enter the parking lot are Olay’s, so park there or on the street otherwise you risk being towed!
Everything was delicious, and there were some surprise hits. For example, I loved the mee krob which was fried rice noodles with an obnoxiously hot pink, but deliciously sweet/​tart sauce. The pumpkin curry is always a hit, as were the drunken noodles and pad thai.
