Had an hour and a half to kill before Joseph’s baseball game so I stopped here to get my academy award manicure. Not bad for the price.

Got an acrylic fill here. Not many colors of acrylic to choose from. Cost was average at 25 $. I went to Nancy. She did an ok job. Lengths are a little uneven She cut the ring finger on my left hand at the cuticle. Other than that they are cute. Good quality acrylic, no lifting. The thing that really pissed me off was the lady at the front. Not sure if she was a receptionist or what. But as I was getting my nails done she kept bumping into my chair, hard too. It was hard enough for the drill to slip and almost cut me. She did that almost 5 times and didn’t say anything about it. Super rude. Because of that, I most likely won’t be back. I gave an extra star because Nancy was sweet.

Terrible, overpriced for what they offer! Will not return! They asked me to sit at a table and put my feet in a BOWL to get a pedicure, when they had massage chairs that were empty! Tv on wall is above massage chairs so, the only way to watch tv while getting a pedicure is to look at the reflection in the mirror… and the sound wasn’t even on so all I heard was Asian people speaking to one another in their language! The woman didn’t do a good job either!

Affection Nails — simply best! I have been coming here to see Kevin, Anna, Lily, Brian, Nancy for more almost 20 years. The salon is clean and the staff very friendly, courteous and honest. I’m always recommending Affection Nails!

Where do I even start… I made an appointment for me and 2 friends for spa mani/pedis. We started by picking our polish and every other review is correct, they have a terrible selection! They directed us to 3 chairs. They started my one friend after 10 minutes, started me 30 minutes later, and my other friend 45 minutes later!!! 45MINUTES! The whole point of having an appointment is to start ALL of us at the same time! It was ridiculous and if they hadn’t already started my one friend, we would have left! During the callous remover my one friend said you have it all over my toe and it’s burning, wipe it off! The lady just stared at her. She said it’s BURNING my toe, wipe it off! She had to peel the saran wrap off and said give me the towel NOW. I said it’s hurting her! She put some solution on it and my friend said NO wipe it off!!! Give me a towel NOW! She pulled the towel from under her feet and wiped it off herself. Her toe is still red this evening! The lady was totally unapologetic and I’m pretty sure they all started talking about us… Let’s talk about the towels and the place in general… The towels were these old, overused, ratty, torn looking things. They weren’t even white anymore but a greyish beige! My husband uses towels like that in the garage! And every worker has these weird playmate coolers that they drag with them from person to person with their supplies in them. It didn’t look very clean or sanitary at all! The whole place was old looking, falling apart and cracked stools and chairs! My friend couldn’t even put her purse or water down because the table on her chair was broken. They had other people in these trash bag lined plastic buckets getting pedicures. They took so long we didn’t even bother with the manicures. They only applied one coat of paint and then disappeared. We had to ask several people how to pay, since there is no desk or receptionist up front. We were ignored repeatedly. We should have just left! They overcharged us and we felt ripped off. $ 41 with callous remover! They should have done something for us after making us wait that long and burning my friend’s toe! The whole experience was awful and we will never go back there again! The place is a dive and I can’t believe they have any regular clientele!

Decent manicure, horrible customer service and slim pickens on the color choices — about 10 bottle of polish to choose from. That about sums up the experience!

Terrible manicure, awful service. Poor selection of polish, and it was slopped on the wall. Never coming back!

This is my fav nail shop! To make it short and simple… they are very sweet here, they are NEVER pushy on extra massages, sea salts etc. Plus, they do a great job on the nails! Love it here!

This nail salon is great with the exception that they allow dogs. This salon is not for dogs, it is for people. I don’t understand why this is allowed. It’s bull crap. Not everyone likes mutts coming up to them. Affection nails should not allow this.

I had two different people and they both seemed like they were in a rush. I had to ask them to go over my cuticle again because they barley cut any. Not even work $ 26. Both my nails and toes look the same as they did before, but with a bad paint job.

Only ever went here occasionally because they charged $ 10 for a mani while everyone else in town charged $ 12. I recently found out they had just recently raised their prices to $ 12/manicure AFTER already getting a manicure. I feel like they should have had signs up or made it be more known that they had just raised their prices. I understand they are pricing themselves the same as their competition and they’re entitled to do that, however, if I’m going to pay the average $ 12 anyway, I would rather go somewhere that’s better quality.

I’ve been here one other time to get my nails done for my graduation. They do GREAT gels! This time I got a regular mani pedi and was taken care of right away. The employees there talked to me a lot and only a little to each other. I went with my mom and my sister and we are all quite impressed! My mom and I received french manicures and my sister got neon nails with flowers. They gave me a really long foot and hand massage, no extra charge, and made sure I had water if I needed it or a fan. Only complaint is that my top coat got a little bubbly, but nothing too noticeable. Other than that, great experience!

Just had the best spa pedicure I’ve had in a LONG time. Kathy did an amazing job. She’s seriously so sweet and obviously cares about her clients. Went the extra mile to give me tips on how to prevent ingrown toenails, talked to me throughout the duration and gave an awesome massage. Way better and beyond longer than anywhere else I’ve been. The mask and scrub that comes with the $ 24 pedi is worth it. Although the salon is a touch dated I give a full five stars because her customer service and generosity seriously makes up for it. I’ll be coming back to her for sure.

I have been going to Affection Nails for awhile now. Two weeks ago I decided to get a gel manicure and I was incredibly happy with the results. The manicure was really well done and it was two weeks before it started to chip a little bit. The ladies here are really sweet and don’t rush through your manicure like I have experienced at other salons. I love that they take walk ins with slim to no waiting time. I wish they had a few more options in the color department but overall it is a great place that has reasonable prices($ 25 for a gel manicure).

Worst experience in a nail salon ever. I came from New York for a wedding and after doing some research settled on this place since it was easy to get an appointment. The workers were rude and had a tremendous attitude. The salon is dingy and gross and they don’t even have a drying station. The women who work there kept talking behind my back, clearly about me. After my manicure was done, I had to durin front of a tiny fan, and of course, left with my nails fully dried and 1 ruined because of that.

They were nice enough to accomodate me for a last minute appt. The pedicure design was second to none. All in all I spent less than $ 50 on a full set and deluxe ped job! Awesome!

This place used to be good but I went there over the holidays and wasn’t impressed. The polish selection is seriously lacking, the ladies were not very friendly(the gal doing my nails was on her cell phone and massing my hands at the same time), and while they supposedly take credit cards, when I asked if I could pay by credit card, she responded with«don’t you have cash?» I get that they have to pay a few cents when they take credit cards, but if they accept them, they should not pressure their customers into paying with cash. Also, my nails chipped within a day. $ 22 for a mani-pedi is a pretty good price but I’d rather pay a few more bucks for a better experience. I won’t be back.

I’ve been driving way too far for pedicures, so in the pursuit of a smaller carbon footprint I tried Affection Nails. Their window says they are closed on Sundays, but they were open and doing good business. They share a parking lot with the Farmer’s Market so being open is good strategy. I specifically requested a spa pedicure, but I did see folks getting regular non-spa pedicures. The difference in price is $ 10; the spa includes exfoliating and cooling mask. My spa pedi with callous remover was $ 31, a competitive price in my experience. I forgot to get my girl’s name, but she was super sweet and did a fantastic job on my feet. Bottom line: I’ll be going back to Affection Nails. UPDATE10÷31÷11: The recession has caught up to me so now I go to Affection Nails for the regular pedicure(feet in the bucket of water), no callous remover. The charge is $ 14 which fits my budget. The gal I like is Jenny, she only works on Sundays so you need to make an appointment. Super convenient and always friendly.
