I come out to this area for work a lot and am so happy to have found this little gem. So far, I’ve tried their bran muffins and paleo bread. I especially love that they have a large selection of gluten free options. Coffee was very good, too. I also just read this place is dairy free and kosher. Even better.

I met the owner and his son, and we chatted for a bit. Incredibly sweet, genuine people! They even gave me a free pastry, which was absolutely delicious :). Gluten free and dairy free products. Would definitely recommend!

Had a sudden treat craving after work one day and decided to finally check this place out. I’m so glad I did! In order of preference for what I’ve tried so far: *Raspberry almond meringue tart = my favorite of the bunch!!! So much flavor and not too sweet, plus topped with a generous heap of sliced almonds *Florentine = crisp and delicate with a touch of chocolate. This was a very close 2nd place. I would definitely grab these if the raspberry almond tarts were sold out! *Chocolate dipped coconut macaroons = a coconut lover’s dream! Satisfying and also gluten-free in case you’re into that! *Chocolate sandwich = only ok. These were butter(or maybe margarine?) cookies sandwiched around a chocolate filling. The butter cookies looked soft but turned out to be too crisp for me(personal preference!) plus the chocolate filling seemed a bit skimpy. I’m looking forward to sharing all these cookies with my coworkers, they are gonna love them! Just one small gripe — I wish all products were clearly marked with prices and dates. The stuff here is such high quality and I’m definitely happy to pay for such premium quality, however I’d prefer to know: (1) how much I’m paying before I hit the register — Loaves of bread were ~$ 7 and prepackaged boxes of cookies were ~$ 13, and (2) how fresh the items are — A «best by» or «packed on» date would be so appreciated! Location is very accessible, right off the 101 freeway, Kanan Exit, then go to the corner of Kanan & Agoura Rd. Customer service was friendly and very helpful(and deserving of a tip!). Ask for suggestions if you feel overwhelmed by the selection. There are so many yummy goodies to choose from!

Cute little bakery tucked away off the freeway. Bought a box of hamentashen. The cookies were deliciously crumbly and had a good amount of filling. Service was friendly — would stop in again!

Holler for 2.95 dollar(s)! Decided to have breakfast for lunch today, because, ya’know – Friday. I just started working in Westlake Village and gotta keep the realness – was pretty skeptical about the eating opportunities in this area(I live 30 miles away for a reason, ya’ll). Anyway, I stumbled upon Abby’s after grabbing a latte next door. The smell of fresh bread had a pied piper effect and the next thing I know I’m in that spot sniffing around and about to impulse buy a giant loaf of sexy-looking challah bread. I somehow contained myself and grabbed an almond croissant instead [insert four thumbs up emojis]. Affordable, delicious, full of perfectly balanced almond paste and giant to boot – I have no regrets about my decision. As my boy Arnold says, I’ll be back. Also, holler to the homie behind the counter – very friendly service!

Bought a tart here on my way down to San Diego for Thanksgiving, and it was a hit at my family dinner. My aunt loved it, which got my cousin excited about it and then she kept saying she couldn’t wait to try it. So I’m definitely happy it tasted great as well as looked beautiful. My husband and I also bought whoopies here, which we thought were individual cookies. They were sinfully delicious. This place is just off the 101 so it’s easy access for anyone looking for a local bakery.

The first thing you notice when you walk into this place is the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked goods. They should charge for the smell it’s so good. They have an entire wall filled with different types of bread loaves, and the middle of the store has a glass case with various pastries and baked goods. The area near where you walk in has baguettes, pretzels, and my favorite, a bargain bin. The bargain bin consists of day-old goods which are still soft and delicious, but cost half the price. Typically you get two items, muffins, cakes, bread, etc., for $ 3. Thus far I’ve had the cheese danish, apricot danish, pretzel bread, and a few types of muffins. The danishes are buttery and pillowy. Well worth the money. The muffins are also soft and moist, but in my opinion they are fairly bland. I think they need more salt and sugar, however, my wife loves them. So it’s a matter of sweet preference I guess. If you don’t like muffins sweet definitely give them a try. All in all a great, small bakery that you should check out.

When entering into Abby’s Millstone Bakery it’s how I imagine heaven is. An amazing selection of cakes, cookies, and bread… and they serve good coffee, too. Yep, when I die, I want to go to Abby’s, or a place like it. It’s kosher to boot. Where do I start to lose it? — — — — — — — — — — — – 1. All items are dairy-free, and many are gluten-free. 2. Rum ball, which was gorgeous and one of my all-time favs, was absolutely awful. It was pure chocolate with an off-taste — not cake-y and not rum-y. 3. Cheese danish — a thing of beauty. The flakey cake part was great, but the cheese is made with tofutti. Good, yes. Amazing, no. 4. Counter service had one completely terrific person, and one not so at all. Conclusion — — — — — I go back, for sure. I think the breads look marvelous, but I’m skipping the rest of the sweets.

Great baked goods, can’t seem to agree on prices. I really like Abby’s whole grain /multigrain bread, sold in our local Albertson’s grocery store, so I decided to visit the shop to see what else they have. Wonderful and huge selection of breads and pastries! It’s really nice to see the selection of hammentaschen(slightly crunchy central European pastries with apricot, raspberry, or poppy seed filling). Fresh pretzels are really good as well. Drip coffee is available for purchase. My only gripe: prices are not marked on the hammentaschen, and I’ve had people at the counter try to charge me anywhere from $ 1.80 to $ 3.20 each. Every other tray has a price on it; why not the hammentaschen? Guys: Abby charges me $ 1.80. Abby’s name is on the shop. Why are you trying to charge me so much more?

Abby’s makes a most unique Quinoa Almond Crisp. Did I peak your attention with that information? Well, to describe it further is to say it’s crunchy like a biscotti and thin like a fine piece of toast, filled with almonds, quinoa and dried cranberries oh and egg whites, so it’s cholesterol free, if your watching that. I suppose it would be delish with some goat cheese and fresh figs, although I like it just the way it is. It’s a pricey treat at $ 12.95 for 16 ounce box. Their pretzels are good, too, and they come in different shapes and sizes. Can’t say I’ve sampled the other pastry items, although you never know when a craving may come along and bring me back.

This is a great spot for gluten free baked goods. They have almond cookies with two different kinds of jams that taste wonderful with a cup of coffee. Fruit tarts that come in individual sizes($ 5) and large sizes($ 28) with fresh kiwi and other exotic fruits. They also sell boxed macaroons with and without chocolate and a selection of breads, all gluten free. Worth a stop if you are watching your intake of gluten but not your calories.

Ok Abby’s is a superb bakery. True carbohydrate heaven… 4.5 stars I’ve been coming for years and also when he was across Kanan in the Oak Creek center for a hot minute. Nevertheless I’m a fan of his talents and bakery wow so good. The breads(Challah, 9 grain & Sourdough) are amazingly good. The pastries also really good the chocolate Bobka is a must. Along with the morning glory muffin… You walk in and your transformed and overwhelmed with choices. Consider yourself warned do not come in hungry or with someone on a diet as it will not end well. Trust me lol The only drawback is the service at the counter usually hit and miss but more miss than hit. the longtime girl was great but haven’t seen her in ages so I assume she left? The new front staff is inexperienced and without virtually any bakery or true customer service knowledge which is a bad mix… Food and baking staff is 5 stars the counter service nowhere near. If your anywhere near Agoura Hills or passing on the 101 either into the city or heading out to the Outlets or maybe Santa Barbara STOP in and load up. It’s worth the quick detour.

AWESOME bakery! Everything I’ve tried there so far has been AWESOME! The macaroons are fresh and moist, the pretzels are European style and are baked fresh daily. If you get the chance, TRYTHEJALAPENOSOURDOUGH!!! :)

Love this place! Typically I try to avoid bakeries(at least when i’m trying to be healthy) but Abby’s is an exception! They have your typical sweets, muffins and deserts. However they also have a number of gluten free items and they even have paleo bread!(This amazing nut/seed bread that’s packed with protein and other good stuff) Their pretzels are amazing, especially the sweet ones and the challah bread is top notch! Also you MUST try the soft biscotti. It’s unlike anything you have ever had! As if this wasn’t enough, they donate ALL of their day old bread to local organizations, food pantries and other great local causes. Definitely worth a visit if you ask me. :)

What a great little bakery — and such nice staff! I’ve had goodies from here a few times but yesterday was my first visit to the store since it was renovated a while back. I love it. These guys have baked up every goodie — from the giant sprinkle-covered cookies of your childhood dreams to classics like napoleons and cream puffs and eclairs. I’ve tried the butter cookies with sprinkles(and a hint of almond extract — yum), almond coffee cake, chocolate chip coffee cake, black forest cake, strawberry shortcake, napoleons, and a black and white cookie. They were all great! When the cashier found it was my first time in the store, she threw in a free baguette. YUM!!! I’m officially hooked — I’ll be back for fresh bread. It was perfect and addictive.

Bakeries always appeal to me. Maybe it’s the smell of fresh bread and cookies that enters your nose when you walk in. Maybe it’s the freshness of that smell or the comforting smile it brings to your face. Whatever it is it’s plain awesome! Coming here after a long day I was looking for some comfort food. I found this in some sprinkle cookies that called my name out to buy them! I asked the woman working there and she mentioned they were very popular. Man… were they damm good! They also had lots of other items that I would snap up in an instant if I lived there such as pastries, cakes, bread and other bakery sweets. A small bakery is a tough business to own. The baker arrives in the middle of the night so people can have fresh bread in the morning. It’s a skill that is somewhat going away in these days as supermarkets and business get larger and it becomes tougher to compete with the big chains. I show a lot of respect for the people who pour their heart and soul into giving people delicious bread and sugary carb delights. Abby’s is A1 and has reasonable prices.

My family routinely orders specialty breads and pretzels from Abby’s, and the flavor and consistency of what we get is constantly good every time. The prices can be a bit high, but when you order ahead of time for special events, and order larger quantities, they do a great job and give you a bit of a discount. A nice treat for the morning, and they also supply the nicer restaurants in the area with their bread and buns as well. A great place to have in the neighborhood.

Abbys Millstone Baking Co. is one of my favorite bakery’s in the area. You are sure to smell the aroma of baking goods if you are anywhere near. Follow that nose trope! Everything I’ve ordered from here is fresh but I do have my favorites. I would swing by once a week, at least, for an Abby Mill Pretzel and/or an apricot danish Apple Danish and Cheese are also my go to’s Cheese Danish They keep it Kosher here and there’s surely something for everyone at Abby’s.
