A good place for salads and sandwiches in a hard to find place in Agawam. The restaurant is located in the utopia market store on main st. When you go in you have to walk all the way to the back to find it. Once you do though your in heaven. The place has great chicken sandwiches which they call north st on the menu. Also there special like roast beef and corn beef are great. I’m not one for salads but the Brussel Sprout is good. Spouts with bacon, roasted nuts, and chicken on a bed of lettuce. Other thing is the cheeseburger chowder that puts other places around town to shame.

Green leaves to go is the best salad/sandwich shop I have EVER encountered. All of the food is made fresh to order and the service is nothing short of exceptional, If you are a walk in they will have you in and out the door in five minutes so if you are like me and only have a thirty minute lunch break they are the best choice around. So I have to go now its time for me to go get my favorite salad.

This is primarly a catering business that operates out of the back of a convenience store. They are not reall keen on cuatomers walking up to the window and ordering as it seems I interupted their catering activities. I asked if they were still open and one of the owners looked up at the clo=ck and told me «Yes…for two more minutes». What kind of response is that? I still wanted to try the food despite their rudeness so I had a chicken wrap and it was mediocre at best. I’ll take me business elsewhere in the future.

Green leaves is tucked in the back of the Utopia convenience store(where the Main St Deli used to be), but don’t be fooled by its location. I just got the Crispy Pear Salad today and it was easily one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The grilled chicken was premium and warm, the pears were freshly sliced and slightly grilled, candied walnuts were awesome, and their homemade balsamic is pretty amazing. I’m gonna head back tomorrow and try a sandwich.
