This place is very, very, very busy. I went on a Wednesday at 11-something, and the place was already swimming with people. I walked in, grabbed a number, and I was already 20-people back. There were about 6 attendants, two of which were in training. So there was a guy just standing there looking over their shoulders(a dude that could have probably been the 7th attendant). The woman that took care of me was quick(not a trainee), personable, and no-nonsense. I was very pleased with how quickly she got me out of there once I finally got up to the front of the line. Overall probably better than Ann Arbor, but still quite the process. The hiring and training process seems to be lacking quite a bit. The woman that did help me told me about the process, and how it basically keeps the trained people from sticking around. I suppose being a government-run office has something to do with it — but sometimes I just wish that people could use their head and produce an acceptable«business». After all, I’m there to just hand over money. Why not make the process and painless and quick as possible?
