Lenawee County Fairgrounds

The hall is nice, private and there is plenty of parking. However having it be double booked for a wedding seems a mistake they would need top remedy.

Leading up to this weekend, I kept hearing how nice this facility is for weddings at the AG building at the fairgrounds. I am not sure what I was expecting, but to put it in context, it’s a meeting hall. Foyer with coat rack. Large space, bathrooms, folding tables and chairs to hold about 300+ people. Tiny kitchen and a rollaway bar.
Floors are painted concrete and so are the walls. Bathrooms are ok and accommodated everyone just fine. (though the ladies room door slams everytime. they need to fix that)
With A LOT of planning, decorating and a well staffed caterer and clean-​up crew, it’s not a bad deal, I guess. It was fun. Wedding party was happy. Clean up was easy. Dumpster was a little far away though. They need to invest in putting in another one and not just having one between the two buildings.
