Great wines and atmosphere. A little off the beaten trail, helps you to slow down and unwind. Live music Friday nights even in the winter! Snacks available to purchase with your tasting, or buy a whole bottle to sit and sip. Sexy Devil is highly recommended, not too sweet or dry. But for my sweet tooth I definitely enjoy the apple pie wine. The owners are also very friendly, knowledgable and personable.

Perhaps the best reds grown in the state of Michigan. They use the Marquette Grape and it’s a winner. Family run and operated, always a fun tasting free BTW. They have a new outdoor tasting room that it great on warmer days. Worth the trip and on the pioneer wine trail just south of Tecumseh. Enjoy

Brand new winery; just opened the tasting room/winery in November of 2011. The owner is a pilot who always wanted a winery and his family couldn’t distract him from the idea! The winery’s name is a combination of the pilot(flying) and the family name, Utter, to make Flying Otter! We sampled a white wine blend called«Northern Lights» and an excellent dessert wine called the 2011 Cherry Pie. The whole family is involved in the winery and are very warm and welcoming. Call first, for the hours open and because it’s tricky to find!
