The Adrian Mall is getting pretty run down. A lot of the store spaces inside are closed, and have been for a long time. A couple chain stores are holding on, but over all It is apparent when walking through the doors that The Adrian Mall has seen better days. I hope it turns around with the addition of Hobby Lobby and Buffalo Wild Wings, which is currently under construction, but these establishments are being built separate from the mall, which is probably a smart move. Furthermore, stores that would be found in malls in bigger cities, such as, Gamestop, Ulta, Maurices, and rue 21 etc… that are located or opening in Adrian are not going into the mall. It doesn’t have much to offer as far as malls go. Stores that were open the last time i was there were… Radio Shack JC Penny Elder Beerman Finish Line GNC Bath and Body works(not a good experience) Kay Jewelers Payless MC Sports Biggies Pizza, which looks like sabaro, but is not!(good bread sticks, really rude kids working it) a place to buy and sell gold an eyeglass place a few salons a couple kiosks for cable and cell phones and tax place.

I really only go here if I have to. My peers consider the Adrian Mall a disgrace to the city. The past few times I’ve been there, I’ve been one of 10 shoppers there. It’s not uncommon at all for Adrian residents to travel to Ann Arbor or Toledo to do their shopping. A lot of the stores have closed in there, but if you’re in desperate need of something mediocre, the mall is there for you.

This mall used to be terrible when I was a kid, and, well, it’s not amazing, but it’s gotten a lot better. It’s a decent mall for the size of Adrian, and it has something for everyone.
