The Pastry Bag

The pastries were completed by Thursday, my party was Saturday, late afternoon, so some things were a little stale/​hard. They changed the delivery location to a pickup location at the last minute and rudely let me know that my delivery fee was non-​refundable and if I didn’t pick up the order (90 miles from the original delivery location) at the time convenient for Christy, that my order would be cancelled, 2 days before the event. Lisa had a family emergency so I was trying to help at a great inconvenience, but Christy was rude and not willing to work with me at all.
The pastries were good, overall, even though some (the apple tarts and mini cakes) tasted like they had been sitting in the freezer for days, the packaging was pretty (I had sent boxes for the mini cakes and they packaged them) and Lisa was nice. So they got 3 stars.
Update: I tried to work with them again, but Lisa strung me along for 2 weeks and then dropped me for another order just days before my event. She also completely ignored me after I asked about the delivery issues we had while she was away. So I docked a star.
Planning an event is stressful enough without adding stress from the dessert caterers.

Love this place! From the second I called to the last bite of the cake… this place was amazing! I ordered two gender reveal cakes, one for my mother and the other for my mother-​in-​law… because I live far away from them, these cakes were conveniently delivered right to their door. The cake is beautiful and both mothers raved about how delicious they were! The prices are good, the professionalism can’t be beat, the cake presentation was amazing and they deliver! What more can you ask for? I highly recommend this place!!!

Ordered a vegan gluten free carrot cake for Easter. It was by far the best cake we have ever had! Moist, perfect spice and not to sweet. An added bonus was that it was beautiful! Everyone asked for a second slice. I have also ordered cinnamon rolls and other cupcakes from Lisa and they are always outstanding.

I ordered my sons 16^th bday cake from The Pastry Bag. I am very particular and I really wanted a delicious customized cake. I ordered the
9″ Chocolate Stout cake w/​Peanut Butter Frosting Belgian Chocolate
Drizzle and Coconut Caramel Drizzle. I was beyond impressed by the presentation and taste of the cake. I am not sure what ingredients are in the cake but we ordered for feb 28 and the last piece was eaten on march 5^th, and it was still moist and delicious ! Also Lisa is super sweet and delivered the cake to our home. I would definitely recommend this bakery.

I was searching for a cake for my birthday and came across The Pastry Bag here on Unilocal.I ended up getting a vegan, gluten and sugar free chocolate cake (my first time ever getting a cake like that). IT WAS AWESOME! It was moist and flavorful!!! I’d recommend this place to anyone!!!

We love the Carrot herb pizza rounds! Sugar free & vegan :) thank you pastry bag for bringing yummy healthy baked goods to our community and our local farmers market. We also love the lemon bars & the vegan chocolate cake

I was WOWED by the high quality of these goodies! Stumbled (luckily) upon their booth at the Big Bear Farmers Market last Tuesday and picked up a bag of pizza flatbreads and this delicious «Carmel Turtle Tart». So good! I’d go back just for their awesome treats!
