The Red Room

Went here last weekend (11÷15÷14) with hubby and friends and had just an ok time. The place is waaaayyy too small for the amount of traffic that comes thru there, hell there was almost a fight. It used to gave 2 sides and now its down to one unless the open the other side. The drinks are just ok, but the music was good.

There is a $ 5 cover. Not bad.
The place is dead until about 11:1 5pm on Saturday. All of the tables are reserved, but you can feel free to sit at them until whomever reserved them kicks you out. Reservations are not watched by the management.
The DJ is terrible. The bartender is ride and charged $ 9 for a drink or which my receipt clearly said $ 7. Self tip… I was charged a $ 25 hold for drinks without warning and it was a week before the charge feel off. The drinks are served in solo cups and are not even good.
The owners keep walking in and out of the fairly empty club and going to the backroom. Occasionally the owners will stop at the bar for a few minutes before leaving and then returning later for this vicious cycle.
I was bored out of my mind and the dj both is behind a glass, like a studio. It would be okay if the dj wasn’t scowling and knew what to do.

Not sure what all the hateration is about with this place. Nice little late night spot with a great DJ. It’s a low key lounge environment with a bar, nice variety of drinks and wine. If you like to dance and you are looking for a cool urban spot in Addison this would be it. Oh and people watching! Top notch. They are supposed to have another side that plays different music but I think they had it closed at the time. I will say the venue is quite small and it gets packed on Saturdays. But I enjoyed my time here. Plus Café Brazil is next door so it’s a win win.

This was the first spot I visited when I moved to Texas. High ass hell to get in. I believe it was $ 25 a person, drinks high ass hell. Nice vibe & Great music The prices were too much tho. $ 11 for a malibu

If I could give this place a zero, I would.
After shelling out $ 25 per couple cover charge, we headed to the hip hop room. The music was promising.
We found a waiter and ordered two hookahs and he sat us down at a table.
15 minutes later this large woman says «nuh-​uh, you got to move! This is reserved» We explained to her that we were sat there and there was no need to be rude. We asked to speak to a manager and Herschel «the man» appeared, but he was a coward and refused to acknowledge our situation.
All in all this place is a joke. We only got back half of what we paid for the hookahs. The customer service was ridiculous.
DON’T COME HERE! Not a classy place, super ghetto. Addison blows. :(

small but its a nice little Lounge if you want to go and listen to hip hop. it also has two sides so they play music that’s a little more mellow on one side.
