Excellent customer service! My fave spot in Addison circle so far. Zack was very attentive with us. What really makes me come back to a place is the kind of vibe I get from the environment as well as the staff. They never seem disappoint which is why I always enjoy stopping by!

so I was in this bar/fast food taco hole a couple of months ago and the bartender was a … How do I say this nicely, riding the short bus. The owner he was even worst actually contacting me on my personal phone when he read my review to change it.. Last week I go in and say it’s been awhile so I am going to try again and maybe it was just me, they tell me I cannot drink here as I wrote a bad review in Unilocal,so nothing else to say here BUT Torchy tacos is only 5 minutes away. Do yourself a favor and go there!!!

I eat at this place for lunch about once a week. It’s a great spot with a nice patio and tv’s always playing sports. Some of the negative reviews I’ve seen are from people who got something other than tacos but the tacos are awesome, hence, the name. For $ 8, you get 3 tacos with chips and salsa and the food always comes out quick. I’ve always gotten great service there as well.

Ugh, was there last Sunday for«brunch.» So disappointed. Why can’t Addison Circle open a good bar? I didn’t have high expectations and thought the bottomless mimosas would make up for it but literally, the people that work there don’t want to work there and the eggs were bad.

Probably could give lower, but I was not overly offended by anything honestly. Perhaps it helped that when I visited, I was so blindly hungry that anything would have been good. Weird atmosphere– it reminded me of every half-trying, half-shutting down bar in your home town where the same people sit around every night and think it’s the hot spot year after year. On a friday night around maybe 9pm there were maybe 8 people at the bar and maybe 6 outside– not packed by any means but not rowdy. Very loud music though. Hard to tell if they intend to really be a restaurant or a bar crowd establishment. We showed up for a quick meal and the girl at the counter was very happy to make suggestions. She was VERY friendly, which was great! She suggested to us the chimichanga with spicy beef and queso, and the nachos. We shared both and honestly the portions could have filled up 3 or 4 adults. She did start us off with free chips and salsa; the salsa honestly was weird and like salsa and cheap salad dressing had a baby. Chips weren’t special. Nachos were fine, quite passable. The chimichanga was huge and quite good, I personally love me some liquid cheese so I loved that. The spicy beef was in no way spicy… which is fine with me actually. The food overall was nothing special but good enough, and prices were quite fair. I don’t drink, but I’m sure if I had a few at the bar, the tacos and other goodies would become legendary. They have a Coke Freestyle machine, which is worth at least a bonus star in my opinion. Love those things… The manager did come and say hello as were were leaving, which was a nice touch.

Some of the reviews mentioned below are just ridiculous. Taco Borracho serves great tacos(hence the name), the staff are friendly and the drinks are made well. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good time.

Omg — went to this place knowing the service pretty well sucks so we can have endless mimosa. They run out way before it’s over and all the bartender can say is I screwed up and forgot to order shit to make these. This place will be closed in a month. Told the customers to bad, nothing I can do. What a loser bar and taco place. Obviously no management exists at this place. My last time here

Great outdoor spot. Cool atmosphere and music. The burger was phenomenal although it’s considered a tex mex place. They have brunch Saturday and Sunday with bottomless mimosas from 10 — 2

I stopped in at this little restaurant for the first time today on my lunch break. I feel like Mexican food tends to be a good, healthy and lighter option for a quick lunch. I got the grilled shrimp taco, which was pretty good. If came with chips and salsa, and the salsa was the best ever! I kind of wanted to drink it like a smoothie. Also the new Bartender Zack is awesome and all about providing great service. Come see him on Thirsty Thursday for a $ 5 Don Julio margarita!

We were somewhat disappointed with this place, we recently moved into the Addison Circle and had high hopes. After trying it twice, the sad reality is the food is just rather bland, and lacks any real flavor. The queso tastes like it came from a jar on the supermarket shelf, the salsa is plain, and the burrito I got reminded me of cafeteria food. The interior is not bad, and we didn’t try the drinks, so maybe it’s okay as a place to just come grab margaritas, but the food leaves a lot to be desired.

New update, at one time this was a pretty solid place but now the customer service has went to the dogs. The lady that took my family’s order was extremely rude. I ordered a drink. The bar tender wasn’t even busy and rudely told me to give him a minute. He would wait on me. To be honest I’ve been coming here for awhile and I can honestly so I will never be back.

Great drink specials for brunch, bottomless mimosa’s & buffet for $ 16.99. Very friendly staff. The manager Roberto actually brought out a fan for us so we could sit out in this Texas heat in July because the patio fans only had weren’t doing the trick. I would give it more stars if the food was better.

I ordered through the Eat24 app and«guaranteed» delivery time was 30 – 45 minutes. 75 minutes after I placed my order it was delivered. I ordered the stuffed jalapeños. Nothing on the description did it say anything about them being battered and deep fried. I ended up throwing it away. Don’t waste your money on this place.

I like the location of this restaurant and the restaurant setup but I am not a huge fan of the food. I had the steak Chimichanga that tasted okay but not sure I’d come back for it again. If your a stickler for good staff then you won’t be disappointed here. One of my main annoyances of places that serve burritos and Chimichangas is the fact that the ingredients inside are not well incorporated with each other. I liken my Chimichanga at Drunken Taco(translation of Taco Borracho) to a middle school dance where the ingredients are like the children, with boys on one side of the dance floor and the girls on the other. I don’t want the ingredients secluded to their separate sections of the tortilla, I want them to have a party together and intermingle. Yes I know some of you are thinking, «just take a spoon and mix it yourself» and while I am capable of doing that I think the restaurant should do that automatically. You’ll be thinking the same thing when you try to mix your ingredients and end up with a torn tortilla and ingredients spilled all over your plate. With that said the steak inside the Chimichanga was good but as a whole the Chimichanga was nothing special. The staff was the memorable part of the restaurant to me. I didn’t catch the names of the one worker scrambling around the front of the restaurant but he was very quick and attentive. This particular gentleman was manning the bar and the restaurant ordering counter which was obvious he was struggling a bit with but that’s understandable. He was very polite and helped me as a first timer decide the best choices. From the interaction I observed among him and the customers at the bar, they were very pleased. The restaurant has an outdoor seating area which is larger than the other restaurants in the area. The inside has a few large booths and tables with a counter you order from to later pick up your order from too. If I come back I’ll have to give the nachos a try but if you’re looking for great Mexican food then sadly I’d have to steer you clear of this place.

Friendly, if unintelligible service. Elotes looked delish, but one bite and it was clear that the corn kernels were frozen/microwaved. Tasted worse than what came out of my high school’s cafeteria. Boyfriend’s enchilada plate was lackluster, with canned refried beans and old, crusty rice. The enchiladas with«cheese sauce» were delicious, as is most anything smothered in space sauce Asked for an on the rocks marg, then was informed almost ten minutes later that they«didn’t have any lime juice» and he’d have to make it frozen. My frozen margarita arrived with a lime garnish…

Every time a crappy restaurant shuts down at this spot, there’s a sense of joy that what might follow will finally be worthy of being the«go to neighborhood restaurant.» However, the recurring restaurant concept for this spot in Addison Circle seems to be meh tex-mex food, at meh prices with meh service. Came here for brunch — except for everything being a bit dry, it wasn’t awful(not great mind you). However, a friend and I came here a few week’s later for a late lunch, and picked up two«California Burritos.» I thought we were ordering delicious burritos with fries in them — I was wrong. What we got instead was a helping of Lot’s wife. We could taste the dead sea coursing through our veins after being manhandled by that salt phallus — an experience akin to being the chubby girl at a college frat party, no doubt. I then hear a statement from my friend’s lips I never would have guessed I’d ever hear in my life: «wow, thank God those fries are there to soak up some of the saltiness.» From the looks of the barren wasteland of a dining room most nights, the Circle will soon get to play another edition of «what failed concept will go here next?» This is Texas. You don’t get to screw up tacos. And if your secret recipe consists of nothing more than the letters«NaCl» — you might want to go back to the drawing board.

I’m feeling borracho! This place was such a great find! We stumbled upon this location looking for breakfast/brunch and was heading towards another restaurant until we noticed the banner. Brunch buffet and bottomless mimosas was just what we were looking for. We had just been excused from another place because they greeted us by saying they weren’t serving breakfast anymore… from the moment we entered, we were greeted by Shawn and told us about the buffet and the BOTTOMLESS mimosas until 2… all this for $ 16.99!!! We were super happy with our find! The buffet was delicious, the mimosas are mixed just right and the ambiance is a mix of modern, artsy, and comfy! Those booth seats are awesome! Overall this place will be in my rotation especially with those daily drink specials. So happy we found this place!
