Stardust Bowl of Addison

Very nice clean bowling alley. Remodeled floors and very nice cozy lanes. Honestly the customer service is out of this world! So nice and genuine (its hard to come by these days). If you’re looking for a great place to take the kids or just hang out with buddies, i’d highly recommend this bowling alley. This is me and my families new bowling alley from now on.
PS To the customer service staff that helped me retrieve my wallet after i had left, i appreciate it wholeheartedly and will be paying it forward. Thank you for taking such good care of me and my family!

Waited 20 mins for them to get bumpers on our lane and yet they refused to add that time back on for us.

Can’t say enough good things about Stardust! My family loves it here! Plenty of lanes and good food too! Every employee I dealt with was awesome. Been to a lot of bowling alleys that are outdated and dirty. Not here, very clean and recently renovated. Also, great prices on bowling and food and drinks. Highly recommend to anyone for a great experience!

I’ve been here plenty of times and have never had a problem, until today. I came with a couple of my family members just to get out of the house and since it was raining, bowling seemed like a great idea. The woman who helped us was either very crabby or hated young people. I politely asked if we could have bumpers, since some of my family members (the youngest being 14) wanted them, and she said «No. That’s only for seven and under». I’ve never had this issue at other bowling places. After this we just shrugged it off and went to our lane to bowl. Later, our 14 year old cousin found one of the bowling slides that young children use and asked me if she could use it, I said «sure, why not». So she bowled her round with it and sure enough the woman staffer comes running over saying we can’t use it because it’s «for 3 year olds and under», she quickly snatched it away and locked it in a closet. Her shift must have ended before we were done with our two round game since I saw two different, much friendlier, staff members at the front. Needless to say, this is the worst experience I’ve had with one of the workers there; she was very crabby, not very understanding, and very rude. If I come bowling here again and see she is working, I will spend my money at another bowling alley.

Love this place! 84 lanes, clean, friendly, a quick bar and it’s only $ 16 unlimited bowling on a Saturday night. Will def be back!

This is a really nice bowling alley. Clean and updated. I enjoy bringing my family there and my son is in a league. There’s always pitchers of fresh water out and so far the staff has been nice.

This place gots everything. It’s so fun kids love it and it’s great for adults. They have over 80 lanes. Few snack bars pool tables small arcade decent prices some slots machines nice bar specials. Also they have a pro shop which is really neat. Place itself was clean granted loud but that’s what u expect from a busy establishment. Don’t forget to sign up for their email club and mobile club as they send some great specials quite often. Now it’s not as fancy of a bowling alley as lucky strike or pinstripes but it’s still fun nonetheless. I love coming here.

If you live in the city, definitely check this place out on a Friday or Saturday night. Think about it 84 lanes?! Me and my best friend got here at 11:30p, $ 28 all you can bowl until 2a closing. No wait for a lane, we bowled until our arms got tired. Stardust has now replaced Waveland bowl for us

I always have fun when I go to Stardust in Addison. The place is up kept very well. I like all their 84, or more, lanes. Been my goto bowling alley since moving out this way.

I usually have a great time when I bowl here. This place is huge (that’s probably an understatement. It’s humongous), clean, updated and just plain fun. They have great bowling and drink specials. My favorite nights to go are on «Money Pins» nights. If you bowl a strike with a certain pin configuration, you win a money jackpot. My boyfriend, on his birthday no less, won $ 121.
The only downside is if you get stuck next to a group of bowlers with no bowling etiquette, especially when its a busy night with drink specials and cosmic bowling going on. The management is not overly concerned with controlling the rowdiness of this place.

Pow pow! This place is old and not full of new and hip things. But that’s kind of why I like it. I just want to bowl a couple games to pass time usually in the area is the only time I go. Huge place, they have leagues, so sometimes you can’t bowl. Will continue to come to this place as long as its opened :)

Very rude, and even though it is huge, when we asked to move to a lane that had room to sit, we’re told «no»! who, in this economy tells their patrons «no», the alley was only ¹⁄₃ full! Yet they cram everyone together! Very strange way to do business!

84 lanes? I think that’s a lie… there has to be at least 100 lanes here! This place is huge! I’ve been coming to Stardust Bowl f.o.r.e.v.e.r. I was finally able to bring my boyfriend here yesterday. We tried coming sometime in the summer but they were closed for renovations. I think that renovation included adding on 20 more lanes :)
Seriously though, this place is great. It is reasonably priced and huge… did I mention that? We were here around 6 pm and it was pretty crowded. There were leagues going on so we got stuck with a lane smack dab in the middle of everyone else. I’m not a fan of being that close to everyone else (weird because when we first got there, the guy behind the desk commented about putting us in a lane that wasn’t next to anyone else). I’m sure they have a method to their madness but I’m wondering why they don’t move the leagues down to the teen-20’s lanes and then they can space out the general public a bit more? It must not have been that bad because my boyfriend bowled a 242!!! His best yet… proud of him! I won’t share my score… it was the people next to me that screwed up my game, I swear!
We didn’t eat any food so I can’t comment on that. They also have a room with a bunch of pool tables if bowling isn’t you thing… how can it not be though?
Given the boyfriend’s latest score, I’m thinking this is going to become a regular spot for us… just need to get my own shoes, rental shoes are the worst!

Went here with some friends as it was equidistant from the western suburbs, o’hare, and the north shore suburbs. Yes, this place is huge, I have never seen a bowling alley with so many lanes. People were nice, prices were good, scorekeeping system was good, and the bowling balls were good quality (not scratched up and chipped like most places I have seen)
Would definitely go back here again/​suggest it to friends.

This is definitely a good choice for a weekend bowling excursion. They have like 168 416 lanes and are priced right. I mean, you are definitely going to see some creepy Hispanic guys playing pool and winking at you… but that’s all part of the fun, right?! =]
This has been our spot for years and definitely will continue to be in the years to come. I just wish Nancy, the bartender, still worked there… I really miss her «Nancy’s Special» this concoction of like 4 liquors and some juice or somthinnnn… RIP Nancy’s Special… I miss you girl!

I love this place. It’s huge compared to most Bowling alleys. It’s so big that back in the day when people could still smoke cigarettes, you can still bowl and not smell like smoke.
They have pretty cheap drink/​beer specials. All you can bowl days are cool since you can pretty much bowl until your arm falls off. Lanes are pretty nice. Staff is friendly. Yes, the scoring monitors are a little dated, but who cares. As long as it keeps score, I could care less. It’s just a minor detail in what is a really nice place to get your game and drink on without having to wait for an alley.

Alright, to say this place is big is a slight understatement. Let’s just say that it has over 80 lanes, I mean I’ve never counted but we’ll average out what other Unilocalers have written.
If you want a cheap place to bowl, this is it. Mind you, the place is a little dingy, but you can always bring your own party to lighten the place up! They also have pool tables and three nice sized bars.
Stardust is also the only place where you’ll find a delicious alcoholic concoction known simply as «Nancy’s Special». Curious yet? ;)

If you’re looking for a place to bowl where you are guaranteed a lane right away, go to Stardust bowl. They have 84 lanes to play on. On Friday and Saturday nights at 10pm-​2am, they have unlimited bowling for $ 12. Can’t go wrong with that. The lanes are pretty well maintained and oiled.

I don’t understand the bad reviews for this place.
Yes this is an 84 lane SuperBowlingAlley.
Yes it has 3 bars, even though they advertise 2.75 PBRs and Millers.
Yes it is huge.
This was the host for the Illinois Special Olympic Bowling Finale today, the 18^th. I was there in the morning (while there was still dew on the grass) and they were ready. They had the staff there ready to handle many different people’s capabilities. There were numerous calls for the staff to fish the stalled gutterballs and the staff were more than happy to help them out. I didn’t see any of the staff cursing under their breath, or taking the slow walk. No, they were fast and efficient.
So for the staff at the Stardust, five big stars.
The actual alley gets five stars as well. They have a large parking lot across the street, snack shops scattered throughout and many house balls. Solid establishment, worth the five stars.
