I can’t believe I’m reviewing a fast food restaurant, but here I am, not only reviewing a fast food place but giving it five stars. Listen, once in a while you gotta let your inner fat kid out and eat some dang fast food. There are only a couple of chains I’ll go to and Cane’s is one of them. There’s something to be said about chicken fingers that actually, you know, look like chicken. This location is great. We used to go to the one near SMU but that one is, you know, near SMU. So there it’s always packed, generally full of some bros. We moved, and so now we go to this location, and it’s awesome. There’s hardly ever a line, there’s always room to sit(you know, if you were fancy enough to put on real clothes and are presentable enough to stay there… we frequently go through the drive thru in our jammies and take our sinful fast food home to dine). And man, I don’t know what kind of punishment Cane’s serves up to employees who are not constantly happy, but these employees are on point. Dang. So nice and polite and friendly. Service with a smile to the max. ANDOMGIF I COULDBATHEINCANE’S SAUCE… well, I wouldn’t, because that sounds messy, but I would definitely put it on a lot of my food before I ate it.

The food is good but that’s not the problem. The problem is the drive through. It takes forever !

First off canes use to be so much better i’m not really sure what happened. I’ve been to multiple locations now and it seems as its getting worse and worse. The food seems to get saltier each time I go and the last 3 times I’ve gone they have messed up my order. Seems like the chicken there has gone way downhill and hasn’t improved since my recent visits. Unless something drastic happens I wont be going back.

Drive through was fairly quick. Employees were nice and friendly. Chicken was hot, but crust seemed to have NO flavor. Sauce was similar to Thousand Island dressing with added sugar but NO pickles. Cole slaw was marginally the best thing in the meal. Not cold, but warm, like the fries. Bread only tasted of bread, despite some oily feel. Fries were unsalted and flabby. Maybe dine in is a different experience, but I really have no plans to find out.

One of my favorite chicken places to go to and grab a quick bite thru the drive thru! They have a variety of selections on the menu to fill you up! Chicken is hot and fresh every time I go and I loveeeee their bread and especially their sauce! Can’t get enough of it! The employees are always nice and friendly! I went thru the drive thru and brought my dog along and they even offered my dog a treat! Which I thought was pretty cool and sweet of them! Defiantly made his night as well!

I’ve only been through the drive through, so I don’t know about any of the goings-on inside. I love the toast, that is my most favorite thing! Lemonade is second. The chicken and sauce come in third! I think the food here is better than average and the price is a little higher than average. At the end of the day, you can’t really go wrong here. Oh, and buy an extra piece of toast, you’ll enjoy having two!

I can’t support this specific chain of Cane’s. I’ve gone through the drive through twice and both experiences have been lackluster. First visit, the drive through took ridiculously long. There wasn’t a long line of cars, just one car ahead of me. That car didn’t have a large order either. The drive through attendant sure did look like she was having a fun conversation with the customer however. I understand that they cook the food to order to get fresh food out, but this was significantly longer than the other locations I’ve been to. Second visit, I place my order, repeat it a few times because the attendant didn’t hear the order the first time. I get home, its wrong. I look at the receipt, my order is correct on there, so I’m not sure where the disconnect is. So, if you go to this location, give yourself some extra time and make sure to check your orders. For me, I’ll drive the extra distance to go to another location that operates correctly.

I have been to several of their locations but this one is close to my office and there for the one I frequent. The food is always super hot and comes out fast. This is a great example of a chain doing one product and doing it well. The food quality is consistent from location to location. My only complaint is the lemonade is extra and no refills! But who can resist the toast!!!

Raising Canes has great tasting chicken strips, especially their secret sauce. I end up getting an extra sauce because I use it for both chicken strips and fries. And the toast is very good and soft. Raising Canes is one of my favorite places for chicken strips, their service is great as well.

This review is mostly about the GREAT Customer Service, but also about the yummy food. This particular Cane’s Chicken and fantastic sauce has greatly improved over the last year. Recently I went thru the Drive Thru and ordered 14 tenders and sauces. The food was ready in less than 3 seconds, the server was so very friendly, but when I got home I could tell the chicken had been under heat lamps. I called and they said they threw in a few from the last drive thru order.(Really, 14 extra?) Anyway, I wrote this in my feedback review and then, OMG the General Manager emailed me and said using the cameras, he saw the process, admitted maybe the chicken was not up to par, and GAVEME A FULLREPLACEMENTFREE! This was not expected, wonderful, and the replacement was unbelievably fresh and delicious. I wanted to truly thank him in person, but he wasn’t there that day. THATWASVERYGENEROUSANDAPPRECIATED, I HOPEHESEESTHIS! From now on, I go inside and order my take-out and it has been nothing but the BEST!

I Always have great service here. The staff is very energetic and treats me like a VIP. The food is usually, but not always cooked when ordered. The sauce is what makes this place! I love the sandwich combo, however, it is too dry. I ask for extra Caine’s sauce but they want to charge extra when they barely put it on the sandwich. The management is great and very friendly though.

Ok ok, let’s take a step back here. 1) The reviews listed below are ridiculous and this is inherently a problem with Unilocal. There are 5 star restaurants and there are 5 star fast food establishments. Cane’s is a fast food restaurant and I have rated many other Cane’s in the DFW area from 3 to 5 stars. They have good fried chicken. That is it. Don’t get picky with it. 2) This location is absolutely on my list for places I loathe. I had the absolute rudest encounter during the lunch rush today with the blonde haired kid with glasses taking orders. He was a complete smart a** to me when I informed him that he got my order wrong. NOWGRANTED, I don’t order a typical meal, I get 3 chicken, 3 toast and 3 sauce, this is because I like to put my chicken on my toast and dunk it in the sauce. It’s beautiful and I recommend it. Well this kid messes up(he was trying to be too cute and rhymey on the intercom to focus on the actual order), I call him out on it politely and he gets smart with me saying it’s cheaper to do it the other way and«calling me bossman.» Well«bossman» I go to Cane’s all the time in other locations and seeing as that’s an offering on the menu, other employees are able to A) get my order right the first time and B) not argue with me or demean me when I go through the drive-thru. Just really dissatisfied. Shame too cause I just started a new job in the Addison area and there are plenty of places to eat up and down Beltline. I recommend everyone move along a bit farther east.

Nottingham a fan of this location but of others! If I wanted chicken nuggets cooked in burnt grease I would have gone to McD’s. Don’t try & talk to management ’cause they will tell you that they can ring you up something else! The next time I want Cane’s, I will fill up the car & drive to Plano or Allen. I guess Addison is where they exile management & employees on their way out!

Limited focused menu: chicken strips, made to order(so you’ll wait longer that you think you should for fast food). Way longer. You can’t really mess up with their one item, and they don’t. But its nothing special and I’m not ten years old anymore and well beyond this as a meal choice.

*Pros: Perfect Chicken! The best fast food hangover remedy ever. *Cons: Lack of disclosure as to what is in the ‘special sauce’. The worst fast food hangover remedy ever. It was the morning after, and I woke up to the smell of stale scotch on my breath, my head in an invisible vise, and a feeling as if all my teeth were wearing little Snuggies. As such, it was imperative I get cleaned up and head out for a suitable hangover breakfast. I had passed Raising Cane’s several hours earlier carousing in Addison and it seemed fried chicken and some caffeine would pass for a reasonable remedy. The meticulously clean interior, the exuberance of the staff, and the big fucking sign out front that said ‘Now Open’ suggested this was a new location. The ordering at Raising Cane’s is simple. Choose a small box lunch consisting of 1) a box with chicken, sides and a drink 2) a bigger box consisting of more of the same, 3) a big ass box full of chicken and sides, or 4) a chicken sandwich with fries and a drink. This worked well with my current mental haze. I opted for the medium size Box combo, and averted eye contact lest Skippy at the register engage in as much lengthy banter as he had the previous customer. I started with the cole slaw, which thankfully was not overly drenched in dressing and served at the proper cool temperature that was incredibly soothing on my throat. The fries are of the crinkle variety. Think Ore-Ida; the kind mom used to throw into the Fry Daddy back in the late 70s. Nostalgia and fried food are essential components of a hangover lunch. The chicken. My. Gawd. Perfection. The breading nearest the chicken is similar Chick-Fil-A — soft texture and evenly coating each piece. The outer areas are a little crispier resembling the bits and pieces of fried batter that accumulate at the bottom of a Long John Silver’s platter. It was warm and tasty and slid blissfully down my throat hole. It was accompanied by an unidentifiable sauce which paired well with the chicken. I have no idea what it was, and it was not worth disrupting a disturbingly off key chorus of ‘We Are Young’ as belted by counter and kitchen staff in unison with the barely audible speakers. I Google’d the sauce recipe as I ate but lost interest quickly when each result referred to secret herbs. Overall it was tasty, and I felt immediately better after eating. However Raising Cane’s is possibly the worst place to go with a hangover. Why? Kids. Everywhere. Shouting… crying…laughing. On the booths. Under the tables. Insert preposition and stationary object here. Next time I’ll get it to go. Oh, and I saw a dead armadillo on the side of the road on the way home. That was tragic. But all in all, an excellent hangover breakfast. Salud!
