So happy with Paul and his crew!!! They’ve transformed our yard. We have had major issues with thorny weeds, and after a few treatments on the grass and beds, HUGE difference. Today they put down sod and mulch. Looks amazing! Thank you!

I would never bother contacting this company for anything. They are unresponsive and have every excuse in the book on why they can’t even provide an estimate or show up for scheduled appointments. First time he didn’t show up at the scheduled time, second time he didn’t show up was due to hitting a «gas line», then the estimate never came, had to hound him with emails for weeks before receiving anything. Once he responded, supposedly his server had gone down. They don’t show up when they are supposed to. Paul tells you he will provide an estimate within a day or two and then he has to be hounded to get you anything. He is a sorry excuse for a businessman and I am sorry that I ever tried to give him any of our business. Don’t waste your time!

I called PTL to make an appointment with Paul for a quote even after reading the review about him not calling and not showing up, guess what he did the same thing to me, never even bothered to call and cancel. If you want to waste your time give Paul a call. No thank you!

I hired PTL for yard cleanup and tree removal. Service was prompt and the results were great. Paul the owner was great and always returns my phone calls right away. And the crew was very courteous and accommodating with my requests and changes. I am also using them for weekly lawn mowing and monthly maintenance. No complaints, would definitely recommend!

I have been a customer of PTL for about 2 years now. His lawn care team is top notch and always on time. 2 years ago we had Paul and his team do a seasonal clean up of our flow beds — they showed up on time, got the work completed in an efficient manner and the price was reasonable. This year we had his team redo the entire front bed. They took a day to tear out our evergreens and other ugly bushes — then came back and replanted new boxwoods and rose bushes — it looks great. Paul and his team do great work at great prices. I have gotten the best customer service from him all these years. I will continue to use Paul and his team as long as I can.

I had called to get an estimate for lawn care, Patio, also an additional lot care. Paul showed up 1 ½ hours late! He looked at everything and told me he would forward a quote that evening… No quote. I left three messages and no return calls. I tried one last time and he answered the phone. I let him know that I didn’t receive a quote and that if he is not able to take on this job to please just let me know. He laughed and said find someone else and Hung Up on Me! This guy Paul Clearly has no manners or Business skills… He also has No Value what other peoples time means to them! I only wish I had checked his reviews before I called him because it seems he treats everyone like this… Clearly No Business Sense.

I had called for an estimate on a decent sized clean up, and had arranged for Paul to come to my home on 6÷5÷13. Unfortunately, he had a fender bender and had to reschedule at the last minute. We rescheduled for 6÷7÷13. However, he never showed up and never called to explain why. I called him and left two messages, but never received a call back. It’s a shame, because if I’d hired him, there was an opportunity for repeat business, as we’re also looking to have a tree planted next spring. Update on 2÷6÷14(this review was originally posted on 6÷21÷13, with one star). More than 7 months later, I received the following message from the owner through Unilocal: Your Review «We do apoligze for this, There was some misunderstand and also, a missed apointment. NOEXCUSES. That was a very bad week at PTL and that fender bender turned into a nightmare for our firm. An employee was hurt and Our truck was hit by an uninsured motorist. We would really appreciate you taking this negitive review down. If there is anything we could do to get a 2nd chance to work with you. please do not hesitate to ask. THank you, PTL Landscaping & Maintenance, Inc.» My response(posted only here): While I do appreciate the circumstances, my negative review could have been avoided by having received a phone call at the time. I’m a pretty understanding person, and the only reason I left this negative review was because the second appointment had been a no call, no show. Then my two calls were left unreturned. Furthermore, I thought that my original review stated the facts(as they’d been presented to me at the time) accurately and fairly. Lastly, I’ve been contacted via email about this issue more than 7 months after the fact. I feel like this is sort of inappropriate. The missed appointment should have warranted a phone call, at that time. Maybe even the Monday after. After all, I waited two weeks to leave the review. That provided plenty of time for Paul to pick up the phone and call me. So, as a compromise, I’m willing to upgrade the rating to two stars, and amend it to include the statements above.
