La Quinta Inn & Suites Dallas Addison Galleria

This review may come off as a bit critical, but I had an all around good experience for what I paid.
Upon entering the immediate area of the hotel, I was quite happy with all of the great restaurant’s within walking distance (Plenty of great spots to grab a bite right at the end of the street). I checked in to the hotel a few hours late, and there was a bit of confusion with a new attendant who couldn’t find my reservation, but a manager intervened and all was well.
The room itself was quite large, and had a seperate living/​sitting area with the bedroom separated by shutters. I did notice that the shutters seemed to be quite dirty, and had a bit of grime on them when I opened them. It seemed as if they hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Otherwise, the room was clean and nice. The bed was a little too firm for my taste, and the edges were kind of rough.
The courtyard was well kept, and the pool, although I didn’t hop in, looked quite inviting. I did notice that the grass in the parking lot was quite overgrown and in dire need of some attention, but that didn’t really bother me.
Just a quick note on the breakfast as noted by many others on here, go somewhere else. They have a waffle maker which will make the kids happy, but the only thing I found edible was yogurt and cereal. No hot breakfast here!

First night was fine, clean room, etc. Second night my husband and I were woken up three times by a party in the hall. Doors slamming, people screaming about margaritas. We called the front desk TWICE and they «could not locate the problem». I’ve attached a video taken from our room at 3:30am. RIDICULOUS! They should refund us.

I have been here for 6 days & have enjoyed it! Very quiet rooms. Mine is a disabled room, w a recliner! I can’t sleep in a bed so mom gets the king bed. Very comfy w a microwave & fridg. My FRIDG didn’t work so they replaced it instantly. Unfortunately it freezes everything. Lol One extreme to the other. It’s ok tho. A/​C thermostat works great! A very pet friendly place. I just wish I wasn’t so far away from front lobby so as to take advantage of the breakfast. It’s to far to walk for me. 2^nd floor far end of building.
Supposed to b smoke free but I have a neighbor who smoke cigarettes & pot. Stinks up the hall horribly.

My room was newly renovated, spacious and sparkly clean with brand new furnitures. It was almost like a mini suite at a 4 star hotel. Bathroom was clean and spacious as well. Bed linens and the pillows were very soft and super comfy.
Pool area was very well maintained. Water temperature was perfect. My family had a blast!
Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming.
It’s in a very quiet neighborhood which is always a plus.
I really liked everything about this La Quinta except for the price of water bottles in their mini store.

Clean. Renovated. Close to everything. Better. Courtyard. Outdoor pool. Outdoor hot tub. Breakfast area w Cathedral ceiling. Wow.
Bonus: Sit in the hot tub and watch screaming eagle corporate jets fly overhead. The airport is right next door. Like, right next door.
It’s way more entertaining. Maybe they should re-​brand the pool courtyard as landing jet zone. Fun. Or you can swim.
This is an enjoyable LaQuinta. Fly by!

No soundproofing at all! I could hear people in every room around me, including the guy clearing his throat in the next room. Miserable night. The motel itself is fine, but what’s the point if you can’t sleep?

My Home Away From Home! Newly remodeled, this has been the most comfortable, guest and pet friendly place I have ever stayed. The staff are courteous and accommodating, and the grounds are always well kept. Last summer, we made good use of the pool with no hesitations. I love the new décor and it’s perfect for conferences, and extended stays. Also, it is close to all manner of restaurants.
The breakfast is always well serviced and I am impressed with the new snack bar. The rooms are inviting in every sense and the beds are very comfortable. I only had to complain once during Spring Break, as there were some noisy drunkards in the hallways during the wee hours. When I had to contact the front desk about the noise, it was handled swiftly and efficiently.

I really like this hotel. The staff is awesome, very friendly and helpful. They have recently renovated the property and they did a good job. My only gripe is that there are no electrical outlets next to the bed, but this is true of most hotels that weren’t built in the last few years. I had to unplug the lamp to plug in my phone. The free breakfast and uncomplicated free wifi are an added bonus to the low room rates. The location is good if you need to get to downtown Dallas, and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance (as if anyone on Texas walks anywhere in the summer!)

The only reason I gave 3 Stars is because 2.5 isn’t available.
The room and décor were very nice, but the murky pool and no protein on the bright side breakfast were not ok!
I love LQ but this was a disappointment.

Great value. Newly remodeled (2013). Excellent location central to expressway and many eating options. Breakfast was fine, though it it would have been nice to have hot eggs or similar, but there was a good selection with waffles, fresh fruit, bagels, muffins, cereal. Free wifi worked fine. Everything was very clean. Would stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay here. Clean throughout, cute courtyard, rooms remodeled in 2013, automatic thermostats, free breakfast with plenty of options, and free Wi-​Fi sans obnoxious login pages and with good signal strength (!!!).
The elevator was hot, loud, slow and creepy, so I took the stairs most times. Maybe they’ll renovate this too once they’re done with the rooms. UPDATE: They are indeed redoing the elevators as well.

Clean, friendly, good location — and THANK YOU for not charging a fee when we travel with our dog! La Quinta is great.

Great hotel great service. Place was very up to date and clean had no problems at all very quiet as well! Breakfest was nothing special very simple. Easy access to the highways and bout 15 mins from the city
