A great event for Japanese lovers, Japanese people, and pretty much everyone else. All the little kids are so cute in their kimonos. People have the cutest dogs also. There are a lot games for kids, performances, snacks, shaved ice and food booths. The booths are from the most popular Japanese restaurants in the DFW like Jinbeh, Masami, Sushi Sake, Sushi Robata, Mr. Sushi, Teppo, and Yama Sushi. The food average around $ 5, but the portions are small. This is a free, one day event. It is open to the public. Tickets are required for food. Same location each year at some random parking lot on Midway, between 635 and Alpha. Plenty of parking spots. It’s so hot every year and this is an outside event. I suggest having this event in the beginning of Oct. for better weather.
