Tucked away in the middle of an industrial park, i happen to find this place on Unilocal while having my car worked on. Stopped in for a quick breakfast during a weekday, and this is everything you could want in a truck-stop style breakfast joint. The grill top sits right behind the counter, and the smell of cooking carnitas fills the whole small café. It has a couple small two seat-tables by the windows and extended bar top seating for the main seating area. For two people, a chorizo omelet and the 2-fer(eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, pancakes) was less than 20 bones(and as you’d expect in a place like this, lightning fast). Fan-freaking-tastic. Not gourmet, but solid on a busy work morning(even if I was using car troubles and the crappy Chicago weather as an excuse to play hooky from said work). ps The second half of the menu was all lunch-focused mexican food. As tangy as the Chorizo in the omelet was, I’m probably coming back here at lunch at some point to try the Gorditas or burritos.

We pick up breakfast from here for the office at least once a week. Anything you try you’re not disappointed. I always go with the chorizo and egg and cheese breakfast burrito it’s only $ 2.49. Prices are great, it’s tucked away in a industrial area, give it a shot.
