Papa Gjorgjo Restaurant

Surprisingly good for a small town Italian restaurant in the middle of the Midwest. Great selection, good food, and great friendly service. If you are used to good Italian food, you won’t be disappointed here. Prices might be higher than the average restaurant in Ada but lower than bigger cities offering lower quality food.

Delicious! The bread was awesome and the pizza was very tasty and huge for the price! I had plenty left over. The cheese bread appetizer was my favorite. Another quaint little Ada restaurant!

The pizzas are some of the best I’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend the pepper steak and the stuffed mushrooms and anything else with the brandy cream sauce. The almond shrimp is a great appetizer. The service is always good.

Food is good though quite pricey. Nicer atmosphere. Definitely one of the better date places in town. Parking seems limited out front. I believe there may be some behind the restaurant though. I like the tortellini the most.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! This is the SECOND time it happened to me! Today I came in and I waited at the door (it states wait to be seated) for 5 minutes before someone came up to me. He asked how he could help. I told him I would like to be seated. When asked where I would like to be seated, I requested the bar. He hands me a menu and points to the back where the bar is and says somebody will meet me back there. I go back there and chose a table in the bigger area next to what looks to be a lunch meeting of some sort. I sat there for TWENTY minutes and nobody approached me, not even for a drink. The large table next to me had a waitress that came to them 5 times as I sat there. She looked at me once and I signaled for her to come over. To which she gave me the «one second» gesture and then disappeared again. Fed up with the service I had already received, I went in search of someone who could help me. To my surprise, not a single waiter/​waitress was on the floor… They were all hiding in the back, including the manager. When I walked up to the door to the back, both the waitress and waiter looked at me and said «oh no!», not something I wanted to hear. When the manager asked what he could help me with, I said I would like someone to help me because I have been waiting for 25 minutes. To which he replied, «you were in the bar? You have to let us know you’re there because we don’t know…» (As if I snuck back there without notice…) I told him, I wasn’t aware that when I was DIRECTED back there by YOUR WAITER that I had to let someone know, and you’re waitress seemed to have noticed me several times and then never helped me. I walked out shortly after.
That is definitely not the customer service I was expecting when I walked in. Simply unprofessional and unorganized! I will never return!

Papa G’s on Main is my absolute FAVORITE restaurant in this small place we call Ada. They’re always quick and the food never disappoints.
My personal favorite is the Greek Salad. And every now and then I can’t help but add a slice of their yummy cheese pizza!
P. S. The Main location in my opinion is much better than Mississippi.

Overpriced for the quality of food that you get. While the food tastes good, it leaves less than to be desired for. $ 16 is outrageous for a basic Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. The north lounge is a better location than the one on Main Street. The Main Street location seems dirty. I have heard their pizza is better than their pasta, but after spending $ 70 on dinner for two and a baby, I don’t know that I will return to even try it.

Great food and decent service. The whole menu is great, but the lunch menu pizzas are what really caught my attention. $ 5 for a decent sized awesome tasting pizza is too good to pass up. I definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch and evening dining.

Had lunch here today, and it was excellent. The tortellini soup was wonderful as was the crab and cheese ravioli in cream sauce. The service was excellent.

Food is alway good and this is one place in Ada that works hard to service you will.
