The Home Depot

I loved this store until I tried to return an un-​opened item where I had the original receipt within the return policy period. Item was returned because already had the item at home so it was never opened. I purchased it with a check visa card which debited the funds straight out of my bank account. When I told the young lady at the counter I didn’t have the same check card because my bank replaced it with a new card with the new chip, she insisted that I had to take a store credit since I didn’t have the check visa card and I didn’t pay debit. I had made it clear that I didn’t want a store credit and wanted cash back. The amount was less than $ 20. I had to ask for a manager who overrode and allowed me to have cash while another lady cashier wanted to try to explain the guidelines. I told her, you should stop while you are ahead. NOTE: I didn’t pay with a store credit therefore I don’t want a store credit. Thank God there was a manager there who intervened and did the right thing. All this being said — I have had great experiences at this store — but management should address this!

The Acworth Home Depot and the Home Depot gas station manager are awesome I realize that it like its really hard when you’re managing especially when you have to manage with no network connection for your point of sale software leaving you with no option but to break out the pencil and paper and do everything manually like we did in the old days. This is the moment when it would be real easy to say «ma’am there’s nothing that I can do I’m sorry» but this particular manager did not do that that is why she is a manager because she knows that even though she may not have the authority in some situations, someone does, because there is always a solution to the customer’s problem thank you to the home Depot gas store manager on duty Sunday night for you concern, understanding & Outstanding customer service!

Home Depot Acworth Highway 41 has got to be the best Home Depot: Incredible Staff and Incredible Managers. Thank You for all that you do for the Community.

This particular review is for the awesome Home Depot Fuel center that is in the same parking lot as the store. Complete with well organized convenience store, 12 gas pumps & a drive through car wash bay. Quick and friendly as usual for Home Depot.

I like walking around and looking at HD, but it’s funny that when I don’t need help, I am bombarded with employees asking me if I do. When I do need assistance, there is no one to be found. ;o/

What can one say about home depot that hasn’t been said before?

its a good hardware store, with employees that know where things are (generally) and are pretty happy to be helping you (or at the least they fake it well.)

It’s a Home Depot in the middle of the filth that is Ponce, what else can I say?
I love that the garden section is so big it has taken over half the parking lot! I was recently up there when the sprinklers were going off and was told to stop running through them and laughing. There was no one around! I bought something and they finally let me run around but I swear I am on You Tube!
Home Depot is a contractors store, Lowes is built for homeowners. I’ll take HD anyday! It is well lit, everything is marked clearly and easy to find and the sales are better than their competitors. Not to mention the sales staff goes out of their way to help you and show you new products. I am a chick and it is nice that they don’t talk down to me when I rattle off my power tool knowledge.
Despite the disaster parking lot and the road rage it causes, this is the only HD in Midtown.

I live about a mile away from this store. Needless to say, I spend a lot of time here.
The store is easily laid out. Most employees I encounter will go out of their way to help show you anything or point you in the right direction.
There is a Home Depot gas station right out front and they ALWAYS have the cheapest gas in the area.

Just Bought a house and have been spending a TON of time here. Everyone has been an amazing help to me. From the guy that re-​keyed a lock for me while I waited so that it would match my others to the advise and everything. They even have a gas program where you get credit for discounts on gas with the money you spend. I cashed in a bunch of receipts that I had and got $ 1.90 off /​per gallon when I filled up. I would be lost without them,
