MC Nails

Reasonably priced with huge color selection. Great customer service! Renovated salon with new spa pedicure chairs with massage. Décor is chic and relaxing.

There were 3 of us who arrived right at their closing time. My mother’s friend that was with the group said she always comes here and how much she loves them. When we walked in and saw that they were closed they told us it was okay and that they would still take us.
We needed 3 pedicures. My mother and her friend received great pedicures. When it came to me on the other hand TERRIBLE. I had a different man do my feet and he could not speak English at all so I had to tell the manager to tell him everything that I said or that was said to me. Since they were closed I could tell he was really rushing with my feet. He clipped my toe nails and didn’t even shape them at all. Each toe nail was a different shape and looked horrible but I’d figure he’d get to it. The nail polish I choose came out chunky and looked liked it had been sitting on the shelf for awhile. When I told her I didn’t like it because the nail polish looked old she told me when he finishes it it’ll look better. I got on my phone and stopped paying attention and when my nails were done they looked sooooo bad ! My color looked horrible and chunky still, my nails weren’t even painted all the way, one of my nails had been taken half off in the corner, the toe nails still had not been shaped so they were so many different shapes and he had put this God AWFUL sparkle clear coat on to «make the color last longer». I brought it to the managers attention and she made up every excuse in the book to why my toes looked like it. She even said she didn’t see anything wrong with it… My mother looked down at my feet in shock and saw how horrible they looked and even told her they looked bad. She eventually told me if I came back I could have them redone.
I drove 30 mins out of my way to came back and she told me to have a seat and that she would get to me. About 4 people came in and it was obvious they were first priority. I then asked how long would I need to wait and she said until 1:30. Let me tell you that it was 12:11 exactly. I told her I had to be at work and could not wait that long and to just give me a refund. She then said she wouldn’t be able too do that because she saw nothing wrong with them still. I told her I live 30 mins away and came back just so she could redo my toes. I was fuming. How dare she tell me to wait and hour and 20 mins and wait behind people that walked in AFTER me.
She finally decided to take me next. She had the same man who did my feet last time start and I’m thinking how I did not want him because of how obvious it was that he couldn’t do feet. She then told him to get up and she’d do it. She was then very rough with my feet and was treating me like I was over reacting about a horrible pedicure.
I can say I will never come back here.

Is it too much to ask for someone to use a New/​Clean nail file on me? This is the third time I’ve visited and they have never used a new file or buffer on my nails. This visit I did my own manicure and just asked for polish, of course they still used the nasty file and buffer on my hands. The people are nice but I recommend bringing your own materials

I tend to gravitate towards this salon when I need to get my brows done. The lady that does them (and a few of my friends’ brows), does a really great job! I usually tend to get really red after a waxing, but here, they put some sort of lotion on afterwards that dramatically cuts down on the redness.
I went here Saturday to get a manicure and my friend got a mani & spa pedi. It’s nice to pamper yourself every once in a while. I got tips with acrylics (because my real nails seem to be breaking quite too frequently for my liking). I almost cried when they cut my real nails down to put tips on them, but that’s the price you pay for beauty right?
I got my nails done and painted with an American manicure plus tip for $ 28 (I left a pretty good tip). My friend got mani w/​french manicure, pedi w/​french manicure and flowers on both big toes for $ 41 (not including tip). Not too shabby! I will definitely be going back.
Also, if you go on Tuesday or Wednesday, there’s a slight discount on their services. :)
