Great service. Great food. (I’ve tried almost everything on the menu). Reasonably priced. Very clean. There is a food /​drink special every day. I recommend asking for Jose. He manages this location and we followed him over from the Jiles store. Such a nice guy. He cares about his restaurant and it shows !

This is probably THE worst Mexican place I have ever been to! People seem to love it and I do not understand why. The chips are way to greasy and seem to be either not cooked or stale, just depends on the day I guess. Anything with ground beef taste like very poor quality, to the point that I would rather have Taco Bell quality. Shredded chicken is dried out. I ordered the Pollo Loco once and the «grilled» chicken was chewy and rubbery as if it had just came out of a microwave. We’ve been a few times to give it a chance since it’s so close to our home but so far the only things we have found that are any good are the fish tacos, salmon, and chicken soup. As a matter of fact, if you like fish tacos I would recommend them! However, I would say drive a few extra miles and go somewhere better.

My dad and I went last night. It was delicious. I plan on going once more before I go back home to California.

Service very slow… waited 45 minutes for enchilladas. the dish came out «warm»…only truly enjoyable experience was the live musician. food failure.

Had a terrible experience the other night. Our waitress was very rude and tried to get us out the door because it was almost closing time. The menu is all overpriced and the quality is average. I couldn’t even eat the steak it was so bad. Just real turned off by the service from my last experience.

I just love coming over here just for the Agua De Mango. It’s the best drink ever. Oh and there Mango Salmon salad is amazing

Nice place. Great service. I had the beef tacos. The meat was a little tough, maybe it needed to cook a few extra minutes. Overall ambience is fine. They have a bar too which I never got to try out (was on duty). Next time I will.

Well, this was my second time dining at this location. It looks very nice and clean inside. I like the way they have the bar separated from the rest of the restaurant. All the employees are very nice and I was a bit surprised that I was able to communicate with everyone. Normally when I go to a Mexican restaurant, allot is lost in translation but not here. We both ordered from the dinner menu… Everything was ready in a timely manner… Employees were as nice and helpful as they could be. Matter of fact, my gf asked our server Freddy what did he suggest and to her surprise it was down right delicious… My meal was equally as good… The burrito was cooked to perfection, enchilada was as tasty as the picture suggested. And they have great salsa and margaritas as well. Depending on which day you go, they have different drink specials for every day of the week… There all good. :) for the amount of money your going to spend here, I can honestly say this place is well worth a try… I would suggest that you go on weekends and do yourself a favor and be sure to ask for Freddy to be your server… This guy is the best waiter I’ve ever had and to be honest, I normally prefer female waitresses for obvious reasons lolol so please go give this place a chance. I read a few bad reviews about the place but I experienced nothing bad about the place…

Got the seafood enchiladas and they were perfection. Also got the huge margarita to share.
We come here for the server Fredy because he remembers what you like and does it without needing to ask. So if you become a regular, you need to ask for Fredy who works on Saturdays and Sundays. We knew him from the Kennesaw location and followed him to this Acworth one.

I went to this establishment for lunch. I waited a decent amount of time before I was greeted and seated. Apparently I had two servers. I placed my drink order with one, and then the other came by and asked what I wanted to drink. The same happened with my food order. One waiter was very friendly, the other reminded me of the IDGAF daughter on «Roseanne»
The chips are thin, but hot, and the salsa is delicious.
I ordered nachos and a taco. The beef is extremely greasy and plastic tasting. Very off putting. The presentation is very nice but the food was odd tasting.
I don’t think I will be back.

Not sure what went wrong with the other 3 reviews, my experience, my service and my meal was nothing short of excellent. I have been searching for a couple of years for a place with Carnitas as good as La Cabana, a place in Marietta that closed a couple years ago. I FINALLY found that place. I will certainly be back again and again.

We came here because of a coupon in a mailer and to try a new place. Arrived about 7pm to find a DJ announcing trivia questions which I though was odd and a bit obnoxious. After sitting for a short time, we found ourselves playing along (but only amongst ourselves). Received chips and salsa and the salsa was fresh and slightly spicy, the way I like it. Chips were greasy, so we asked for another bowl. They were about the same. Good selection on the menu, but the meal took a lot longer than I expected (which is why I didn’t rate 5 stars). I ordered the enchilada Santa Fe dish, and it was excellent! I frequent Mexican restaurants and must say, this is in my top picks now. My girlfriend’s carne asada was just as good. Waitress was attentive and manager checked on us as he made his rounds. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I have ordered to-​go from this restaurant twice. Each time, the order was missing significant portions of what we had ordered. For instance, the most recent visit I ordered a Taco Salad Fajita from the lunch menu.
Here’s what the menu says: Taco Salad Fajita: Large crispy flour tortilla shell with cheese dip and filled with your choice of grilled steak or grilled chicken. Serve with bell peppers, onions, lettuce, shredded cheese, guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo.
This is what I received: Taco shell, grilled steak, bell peppers, onions, and lettuce. As you can see, there are quite a few «included» toppings that were omitted. I took a photo of the food I received, showed it to the manager, and politely asked for it to be done correctly. He brought back the correctly made item a few minutes later and a completed rewards card that would allow me to get a free meal next time I came in.
I appreciate that the manager was quick to «make it right» and next time we visit I will make sure that everything is included in the order before leaving the restaurant. The food is not exceptional and the prices are a bit high for my taste. Considering the error rate so far (the first takeout order was also «half made») I think we will give this place a pass when friends or relatives visit.
I’ll go back in a few months and see if things have improved.
