So happy to find a body of water we can swim in!!! We’ve been missing the beach from Virginia, I know this is not as big but not bad of a substitute, we can live with this. Clean and quiet, lots of picnic tables and benches, big parking space. Will definitely be coming back many many times

Good spot for lounging on a white sand beach less than 45 minutes from ATL. Make sure to bring your own supplies as there typically are no food vendors. There are public grills and bathrooms. No life guard on duty.
