First of all they have free popcorn but the light bulb is out in there popper so it it always cold and stale tasting some food items are good but stay away from the soups and be advised they do not allow ecigs

Decent food at this restaurant/​bar. Nothing fancy, just burgers, chicken — normal pub fare.
Restaurant side is small, but the bar has a good vibe and friendly staff.

SCAMMED! If you’re looking for a neighborhood pub with a decent sized cocktail, this is NOT the place. Every time we come here, the drinks get smaller and smaller. Last night my husband’s cocktail arrived in what we could only call a mid-​sized shotglass! For the first time in our lives, we actually said something to the bartender. We told him it wasn’t even 2 sips, and he said «That’s the way we’re supposed to do it!» (which is code for screwing you over!)
We’re not beer drinkers and we continually feel punished in this place for ordering cocktails. Also, our bill was over $ 60 for 2 SMALL sausage subs, 1 app and 2 «drinks.» We walked out definitely feeling scammed.

It is a good place to grab burgers. Hang out at the bar or go out with your family. They have fantastic spirts and other drinks

I love coming here!
They have all the games on, reasonably priced beers and food and a great group of people that don’t mind talking to someone they don’t know.
If your idea of fun is having a couple of beers, eating a burger, watching the game and playing Keno, then this is the place for you.
If that doesn’t sound like fun to you go somewhere else, we are busy having fun here!

Love the free popcorn and the wings but the service is very inconsistent. It seems like they have a high turn over rate.

I am giving them 2 stars for the cold beer and good atmosphere to stop in for a few drinks and play keno. I think they need some updating and could be a better place with this. Bathroom is a little dingy. The food is ok, I think they could give a little more love to it. I think they make their money from the locals it’s not somewhere I would just go out to eat. I basically stop there for the beer and keno. Wait staff and bar staff has always been kind.

Then the prices went up. Bartender/​waitress attitude. Stone-​cold food. Did I mention prices? Cold room ambiance?
AVOID. AVOID.

The food was typical bar style food with a few nice twists. For example a horseradish streak wrap. They have lots of TVs to watch games, some nice beer specials (I was having 3 dollar porters), and the staff working that night were fantastic. Also the TV volume was just right. I could hold a conversation and watch a game at the same time. I sat at the bar, but noticed every booth has direct TV which again is nice for catching a game.
I would not go there for the food, but if you are looking for a place to catch a game, have a good priced beer, and enjoy some wings it is worth checking out.

Great burgers and wraps! The waiters suck, but sit at the bar… the bartenders are great!

Good place… beers were cold and the food was ok. Bartender was pleasant. French fries were really tasty. Buffalo Chicken was strange because it was chopped up pieces of chicken but good.
Wouldn’t go out of my way… But good.

I thought this place was pretty good. They had a lot of items on the menu and a good selection of beers. I had the Hawaiian burger and it was very good.

Food was mediocre at best. I got the Mojave chicken wrapini and it was very tasteless. Went around 6pm and the place was empty, yet the waitress forgot about us once we got our food. From the outside it looks like it would be a fun, casual place to go, and being new to the area, we were looking forward to finding a new local spot for drinks, etc. This is definitely not that place, and we haven’t been back since.
Would not recommend to anyone.

I’ve been here multiple times now, but never again. The food is just terrible, even for a bar. If you just wanna have a few brews, go for it, but that’s about all. DON“T EAT THE FOOD.

Good food, really good service at lunch today. Menu had decent options and the fries were seasoned well. Your basic local dive with great sports memorabilia on the walls. All in all, id go back if I was in the area.

This is about Acton, not Marlborough…
Tailgaters is what this little slice of Metro West needs most; a reasonably priced sports bar with a good beer /​wine /​spirits selection and straightforward pub food made from quality ingredients that tastes great and doesn’t clog the arteries (except maybe that occasional cheeseburger soup special). Substitute a turkey or veggie burger for that beef burger, or order up a big, fresh salad. I love the fresh-​made pizzas, too!

I’m truly disappointed. 4 of us went, it was FREEZING inside. I NEVER complain about the temp. But man, something was weird about this visit. there was nothing PLAIN on the menu. Everything had a sauce on it. No plain grilled meats available, bummed about that for someone looking for a healthier option.
My burger was just ok. Husband got the same. Roll was not fresh. Fries were not piping hot. My kids got a plain cheese pizza that they did not like and little kids like everything! It wasn’t a «decent» pizza by any means. We stuck to basics.
One thing that really bothered me were the floors! No one was cleaning up with a hokey or broom. I could see junk everywhere. It really made me ill. And the bathrooms need a refresh… ick. Our server was nice, that’s the only positive I can give here.
I won’t be going back unless the menu adds some healthy options and if it gets better reviews for cleanliness.

I try to give a new place 2 – 3 visits to form an opinion, so…
Was there (for the 3^rd or 4^th time) on a recent Saturday night, when Alabama played LSU in the biggest college football game of the year. There were approximately 9 patrons in the place at 9 pm on a Saturday night with a major sports event going on, a far cry different from the first night of Monday Night Football (when it was mobbed and we witnessed a barfight, but I digress). I think people are figuring this place out.
In all my trips there, the food has been average at best, the help indifferent at best, and the cleanliness between unkempt and filthy.
I was there with a friend who manages a sports bar/​restaurant, and he just shook his head at the overall experience.
I had such high hopes for this place, but am unlikely to return. See you at Crossroads.
