I guess their food was alright, cheap and edible. Rushed service, awkward environment… We were the only 2 in the whole place on a Sunday night. I wouldn’t go there again. Small 6 $ drinks, food was ready in less than 5 minutes, makes me think it was microwaved.

I love this place! Every time I come I order the 1⁄3 rack of ribs, green beans and coleslaw. The green beans are always fresh and lite and the Asian coleslaw is always delicious and perfectly seasoned! The ribs are always on point and all that food is a whopping $ 9! What an amazing deal!

My family are rib lovers and Po’s is our favorite rib place in our area. The specialize in dry rub ribs with a killer hot sauce or bbq sweet sauce. They make a Asian cole slaw to die for and their mashed potatoes are homemade and delicious. Green beans are basically the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I love Po’s. You will too!

I was really excited to try this fusion restaurant but came out of it a little disappointed. My dad is from the South so I love, love Southern cooking, especially BBQ pulled chicken, mac and cheese, greens, etc and I was really curious to see how an Asian restaurant could pull it off. I really wanted it to be good but it was just ok. I tried the pulled chicken, green beans and the cold noodles. I wasn’t too much of a fan of the chicken but I actually did like the noodles. The place has a nice casual feel and I do enjoy sitting at the bar with a good glass of wine and good conversations with friends. I think I might give them another try when I am in the neighborhood again.

Good ribs. They use KC Masterpiece. Went there with my son. Sat at the bar. We each had a full slab. Very tender. Brought home some leftovers.

Place was pretty good, not exactly what I expected for BBQ, but the staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable and the food hit the spot.

Been to that place many times. I love this place. Food is delicious! Service is great! Possibly served by one of the owners. She’s always so attentive and friendly! Lunch menu is simple, great bang for the buck!!! Delicious beef brisket and pulled pork!!! Cold noodles are amazing too! Would highly recommend!

Had ribs, brisket, slaw and green beans. I’ve had better BBQ, but very good, and reasonably priced. I’ll eat here again.

Good food, good portions, nice quick service. Limited menu. We got the ribs. They were more South Carolina style than Texas style(dry rub with sauce on the side as opposed to cooked on gooeyness). But, they were good.

I’ve been wanting to try Po’s since it came up on a BBQ restaurant search I did about 2 years ago! I have not had the opportunity until now, and I’m sorry that I waited so long. Granted my review is limited — I got a takeout«platter»(meaning it comes with two sides) of ribs, mashed potatoes, and green beans. First, let me say that the food was piping hot — that’s 3 stars right there because so many restaurants serve lukewarm food. Second, the mashed potatoes are some of the best I have had EVER — including my sister’s at Thanksgiving(her’s a just a notch above). With mashed potatoes, so much of it is the texture, and these were the perfect mouthful of creamy, but not gooey, goodness. The green beans were a surprise — fresh, crisp, perfectly cooked. I expected the overcooked ones with some sort of bacony/tomatoey sauce on them that you get at other BBQ places. These were superior. Of course, I have to comment on the ribs. The craving for them is what drove me to Po’s, and they did not disappoint. They are smoked to perfection, you can really taste the flavor in them, but I did add the mild bbq sauce(yummy) to give them a little moisture. I ordered six thinking I would only eat three, but I couldn’t stop. I can’t wait to take my family or husband there. He is not a huge fan of BBQ, but he’ll love the bar and Chinese drinks that you can get. And, from other reviews, it looks like I need to try the noodles.

3.405 Stars Pros: Limited menu, pork ribs, slaw, cold noodles, chinese cocktails, real HD on the TV’s for watching the game, Sox were playing while I was there. Cons: brisket, beer selection, need more Chinese/Asian sides, need more traditional bbq sides especially okra and cucumber salad. The room is slightly awkward shape, prefer the bar seating or the high top tables. My first and last bites of the pork ribs make the perfect«C-shaped» bites, moist with light smoke and just a little tug before it yields. Falling off the bone is not good ribs, these were nearly perfect. The brisket is gray, where is the smoke ring, looks like roast beef? They have nice American green beans but I would suggest adding spicy chinese green beans and possibly American fried green beans. I’d also like to see Chinese potato dishes. Essentially the menu may be too spartan, perhaps have seasonal items, expand sides. The BBQ sauces were just ok, another area to upgrade. * pork ribs #1 item, a nice fusion disk that nods to traditional BBQ with a slight Asian flare. * Strip mall parking with a quixotic space layout. * They need to go «all in» on the Fusion theme. * very good service.

Very tasty Barbecue with an Asian twist with the Spicy BBQ sauce(highly recommended). They do great Ribs, Pulled Pork and Brisket. A must try side is the Cold Noodles! Very good prices by the way. They have a nice little full bar with two TV’s and a pretty quite atmosphere so it’s a great place for lunch, dinner or a drink.

For Acton standards, I give this place 4 stars. The service was fast/efficient, and the food was tasty. It’s no Blue Ribbon BBQ, but it’s still pretty good. The restaurant itself is very quaint and comfortable on the inside, also very clean which is important to me when I’m eating a meal. Pretty reasonably priced too. Food came very fast, and our server was quick to attend to our needs. As other reviews have mentioned, I wouldn’t go in there expecting«real» southern BBQ, but given the location and the fact that Acton has a severe lack of good restaurants, this place is good. We’ll definitely be back.

A solid 3 stars because every time we have come here it’s been just«eh». Not great, not awful… just so-so. The floor plan of the restaurant is kind of «open concept’ meaning no separation between the bar and the tables, which lead to us having to listen to a rather loud and obnoxious barfly telling his bar mate things like, «I don’t care what these GAYS do, I just don’t need to be around them and they should keep it to themselves.»(I actually said, «Are we on ‘What Would You Do?’ !?») It was my son’s first time at Po’s and needless to say it was not a good first impression for him. We ordered a lettuce wrap appetizer and entrees, yet 20 minutes later still no app. And then, you guessed it – all the food came out together. There were 3 of us, and only 2 lettuce wraps.(Might have been nice to have been told when ordering given 3 of us were together) Wraps were bland, needed hoisin sauce or something.) Ribs were good, as were the green beans and cold noodles. My son had a shrimp salad which came in a rather small bowl with shrimp that were also in need of flavor. If you are feeling like having a mediocre experience and go with low expectations, you might be okay.

A great local place to grab a bite. Staff is very nice and food is fresh. I *LOVE* their chicken wings. Try them if you haven’t yet! It is not your typical BBQ place, so do not expect cornbread… LOL. Pulled pork is excellent. Even their burgers are really good!

Me and my girlfriend went the other night. We were in the mood for good BBQ and found it on Unilocal and figured we would give it a try. It’s a casual quiet place. The food was very delicious! I had the half rack of ribs with mash potatoes and baked beans and few drinks. Service was fast and very friendly. I recommend going if you want good BBQ and friendly service.

I was excited to try this BBQ restaurant. I mean, doesn’t everyone want a little taste of summer in the middle of a cold, snowy winter? Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the food consumption part. I sat at the bar and was given a crusty glass for my drink. I had to peel the crust off of it. After watching a cockroach run across the floor and listening to the bartender say, «sorry, we sprayed yesterday but there are still some leftover,» I had to leave.

Décor definitely looks like it’s a Chinese restaurant though the sign out front leads you to believe it’s a more traditional BBQ joint. Food is mediocre to bad. Between all of us we tried the baby back ribs, pulled pork, brisket and chicken stuffed with prosciutto and peppers(yes, you are reading that correctly). The exception are the fries which were light, golden and crispy. Our flavor-shy kids at the spicy BBQ sauce because it was anything but spicy. The cole slaw is practically inedible. The mashed potatoes had a weird flavor that is still undefined by anyone in my party.

Put aside any thoughts you have about a Southern rib and BBQ joint. This is not that. The first clue is when you walk in and the restauramt looks like an upscale Chinese restaurant with a bar and pleasant sit down area. This is not Blue Ribbon or Redbones.(I like both of them, too.) Po’s is a Chinese-Southern USA fusion restaurant. It is best to explain by example. I had pulled smoked chicken with pine nuts in lettuce wraps that were delicious. The brisket was excellent, with a hint of a Chinese smoker. My wife had a grilled shrimp salad with an Asian style slaw. All were excellent. If you enjoy spareribs and Southen-style ribs, then come over. Leave any food prejudice about authenticity at the door. Just enjoy.
