Innovative Landscaping and Irrigation

Gross biggot. The owner of this buisness hates you if you support bernie sanders. He also hates you if youre black. he refused to work on a house because the home owner had a bernie sanders banner on there house… Dont give this racist creep your buisness.

The price is certainly right, but the quality of service was subpar in my opinion. Maybe there is an A team, but I got the C team for sure. They cut down two lilac bushes I planted, rather than weed around them. They were clearly not weeds. They caused damage to our septic pipe by being careless, and mowed right over a strawberry bush we planted– that we even put stones around to mark it!
They ultimately didn’t work out for us. We found someone in the area who mows our yard for less, and he pays attention to our existing landscaping.

I made a call and set up an appointment with Joe to have him stop by and look at my landscaping work. (I did that after seeing his reviews at Unilocal) It was ⁸⁄₂₁ 5 pm and I took off early, went through the traffic, and showed up on time. But nobody showed up. Nobody answered the phone. And so far nobody returned my void messages.

Seriously, I have been through at least three botched landscaping jobs so I am naturally cautious of good-​natured hucksters or crews with a good sales pitch but little follow through. Joe is amazing. Specifically the things I was impressed with:
1. The level of personal attention he gave my job. From the very specific/​detailed estimate to the email confirmations and questions. He was able to take both a text message and email message promptly (that helps me since often I can’t get to the phone). He confirmed with me the day before exactly what he was going to accomplish and when I came home the next day what I saw really exceeded my expectations!
2. He didn’t double back on his estimate or try to up-​sell me on services I didn’t need. When I said I only wanted a mow once a month (not once a week) that’s all he quoted me for — all with a smile. He followed my instructions explicitly even while cautioning me about my choices for hardscape materials. I appreciate that I get his professional opinion without the push and the «lady, I know what’s best» attitude I seem to get so often.
3. He is a genuinely nice person and so are his associates. I can tell he really just wants to do a good, honest job and he quotes a very reasonable price compared to other quotes I’ve received. Which is why I almost expected a half-​baked job. But no, it made me feel like not only do I want him to come back, but I’ve taken the extra effort (which I rarely do) to leave such a detailed recommendation.
I can’t recommend him highly enough and I’m so happy that I have now found my go-​to landscaping company!

Joe and his team do an excellent job maintaining our yard and special projects. Joe designed and installed a new patio for a firepit in our backyard that has gotten a lot of use already.
His references are excellent and Joe is an all-​around good guy.
