Bright Appliance

I called three other companies before I called Bright Appliance. The first I called, despite being in the next town over, didn’t service my area. The next didn’t return my call at all, and the third hadn’t within an hour, during which time I had already contacted Bright.
Peter was friendly and professional from the start. He had flexibility and a reassuring demeanor. Setting the appointment was easy.
Once he arrived, I liked the look of his professional and happy van. It further reassured me that my possessed washing machine was in good hands. I call it possessed because, of course, once he was here, it didn’t do what it did the other day. Still, Peter gave me best-​case to worst-​case hypotheses for the noise I heard, and I appreciated the honest suggestions he provided.
The charge for the house call was standard and reasonable.
If it or anything else breaks again, I’ll definitely call Peter.

I had a very bad experience with Peter at Bright Appliance. He charged $ 745.63 to «repair» a range and a fridge that ended up being a huge waste of money. The fridge was leaking water at its base. He said it was the icemaker (which I questioned at the time). He replaced it, but the water started leaking out again not long after his visit. He also replaced a control panel on the 10+ year old range that he charged around $ 300 for, and I ended up needing to buy a brand new range a year later (the «old» one died due to a failure of the «repaired» $ 300 control panel) and the entire NEW range cost $ 399.00! I would recommend staying away from this company.

I signed up on Unilocal,just to give this review. We are getting ready to put our house on the market and had a fridge, gas oven and dishwasher with problems. I found Bright Appliance online and gave a call, two business days later the parts needed had arrived and Pete was onsite fixing all 3. Very friendly, fast service and the cost was reasonable.

Took a chance as there were no reviews on this company. I have to say I was very pleased. Prompt return phone call, prompt service, excellent follow through; emergency refrigerator malfunction diagnosed and repaired first time around. Courteous and knowledgable owner — highly recommend!
