I love this place! I live in virginia and will make the drive to maryland just for them because of how great they do nails.

If you want a good and long lasting gel manicure, go and see Trang! She is amazing, delicate, and peculiar about her work. I promise my gel manicure lasted three weeks before it even began chipping! She has a customer for life.

Second time here. Getting regular pedi, mani and some face wax service. The place is clean, quite and relaxing. They play spa music, the TV is on usually with news bad low volume. Great selection of nails polish. Good regular pedi massage. The pedi chairs work well with the body massage options.

I love this nail salon I they are the only great nail salon in the area. I tried other places but none could compare. Sometimes I have a wait but most times I don’t it just depends on what days you go. The week days you will be in and out.

This place is roach infested! I returned for a second time after I saw a roach because I did get great pedicures here. The second time a roach was crawling in the foot bowl and fortunately I saw it before it was filled with water. I asked the pedicurist, «what is that?» She said, «a roach.» She rinsed it down the drain and proceeded to refill the bowl without even cleaning it out. Ugh! Also, the fascination with the client’s designer purses is unprofessional and downright ridiculous. I could tell my pedicurist was curious about my Gucci bag and asked Kimi, the owner, if the bag was real. When she asked the question, all of the employees looked at me and my bag. Later, Kimi was at the sink rinsing bowls and saw the bag from the side and could tell it was genuine. She told my pedicurist it was real and my pedicurist looked disappointed. These exchanges were in their language but I certainly understood what was occurring. On my way out, Kimi says, «I like your bag.» I won’t return; roach infested and unprofessional!

My first time at Kimi Nails and Spa was pretty good –I only had an eyebrow wax that time. However, my 2nd experience was actually the opposite of the previous reviewer’s. I was greeted by Kimi immediately. I must admit, I had a rather long wait at least 20 – 30 minutes, but that was because everyone was busy(also considering I was a walk-in on a Saturday). However, the moment I sat in the massage chair for my pedicure, everything went as smoothly as possible, and I am very happy with the results. I spent $ 42 on a basic manicure/pedicure and eyebrow waxing. I recommend this location to anyone who wants to be pampered. Advice: Set an appointment if you’d rather not wait longer than 20 minutes. Also, all of their tools are prepackaged and placed in a sterilizer which is awesome.

I have given this nail shop a 3 strikes you’re out and they are definitely out. I walk in and no one greets and they leave you standing there like they are unaware of your presence. They leave you sitting long periods of time and when they finally walk over to ask what service you need, you still have to do more waiting. There aren’t any apologies for the extended wait times or lack of enthusiasm to service you. It’s almost as if they don’t value your business. The owner Kimi can be quite rude and unprofessional as well. There was another woman waiting when I walked in on the 3rd strike who said that she had a horrible experience before and that she was giving them a final chance. The end of the story is that I left out(without being serviced after waiting 30 mins) recommending the spa that I was about to go back to even though it was 15 mins away and advised her to check out Escape Spa in Waldorf, Md if she’d like.
