Because it’s rare to find a place with large portions, and still maintain good quality ingredients, & great flavor. The good: Large portions, fast & friendly service, clean, great flavor, nice menu selections, and awesome value. I couldn’t believe the size of the«half» order! It could have easily been two meals, but I’m fat, so I ate it all. Don’t judge me. The bad: Small interior, and the bread was a little hard for my liking. I know some breads are harder than others. The tuna & cheese sandwich was still really delicious, so both minor complaints. Overall, quick, cheap, and scrumptious. Great place for lunch. If they offered some kind of soft, sweet bread, that sandwich would be the bomb! Pro tip: Call ahead, it can get busy for lunch.

In New Jersey there is a wonderfull little town called Absecon(not far from Atlantic City). In this small town on a quiet street, there is a tiny place called Vic’s Subs. Vic’s Subs is a great little place with a huge menu, and plenty of staff to get things done. Pretty much anything you want on a hoagie roll they have, and are able to produce it in a timely manner. I’ve had the cheesesteak, italian, salami/cheese, and several other’s and they were all great.

Vic’s subs is the go to place for Italian Hoagies and Cheesesteaks, always the best meat and the price are reasonable. No wonder they have been in business for so many years. Loved it!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Vic’s after giving up on the poor quality of the White House Subs. I must tell you, the staff at Vic’s never smile and always look like they are annoyed. You know how many times I’ve been put on hold? There are a few girls that just don’t comprehend a simple order. One day I told the girl 5 times what I wanted and she still was clueless!!! So I had to drive there(and it wasn’t the first time) and they still get it wrong! They act like they’re doing YOU a favor. I’ve had it with their bullshit and will never go back there again! Customer Service«SUCKS»

Tuna tuna tuna!!! It’s my fave, but any sub from vics will satisfy whatever you’re craving. Not to mention the Stewarts sodas, and friendly staff. And it’s no bs on the filling, many sub shops skimp on the meats now a days. NOT Vics!!! Enjoy

I prefer the location in EHT the best but this place is still fantastic. Vics and Jimmys have the best subs in the area if you ask me.

No parking, I was amazed at how big the sub was then when I bit in it I got nothing but bread. Was barely any meat in my cheesteak. The only reason I went there was because my girlfriend wanted to go. And her and I agreed we won’t be going back. IFWAWASHOAGIESAREBETTERTHANYOURSTHATSPRETTYBAD. Customer service is non existent.

Very disappointed with the food. Thank God for the coupon for $ 10.00 off. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan expecting a chicken cutlet, but it was sliced chicken that was very dry, husband ordered Meatball Parmesan, the meatball are not homemade or store-made, very hard meatballs. I can not give a OK for the mushroom, cheese steak. Last time! We rarely eat at subs shops, fast foods… I know why… terrible food!

Great bread, tasty cold cuts and lots of them. Similar to White House Subs, couldn’t say if they are better or not, just a really good sub.

Best subs and cheesesteaks in town. They are filled with plenty of meat and they are not selfish or greedy when it comes to adding lettuce, hot peppers, tomatoes, etc. Unlike sac o subs who will charge extra for everything. Great subs, without a doubt.

I went to pick up two whole Italian subs with all the works for my dad the other day and I was a little frustrated since I couldn’t find any parking so I had to park on the side street pretty far away since everyone apparently in the shop eating park their cars as if they never took a drivers test before. But! I can see why because when I asked for my dad’s order they just lifted these two HUGE subs out of no where and I was shocked. It turned out to be $ 25 and some change but from the looks of them they seemed worth it. I would consider ordering ahead of time because it’s a small place and not really anywhere to wait.

I am hooked on the chicken cheese steak hoagie… a real good sub. Great people working behind the counter. Quick and fast! I’ve never had a problem or bad order. I don’t know how they crank out the orders so fast… I call ahead, and 10 min later, its ready.

The subs are ok. Large with very good ingredients and tasty. The hot veggie sub is really good. However they are too messy. and I don’t like the way they put on some of the ingredients. My tuna sub example: Wet tuna on bottom then everything else on top. When I attempt to take a bite out of the very large sub, I either get a mouth full of lettuce or a mouth full of tuna. Nearly impossible to combine the flavors. Also, bread gets wet from the tuna and starts to get soggy.

WHERE’S THEBEEF !! I’m now in Atlantic City I was born and raised here on subs. The White house still is King. The subs were good by Los Angles standards, they think Subway tops the list. They all use the same bread Formica or Rando which both are great. They just cut the lettice not shredd it. I like a cheese steak filled with cheese and steak. I needed a AAA road map to find both. A much better place is the Atlantic city Sub shop on Tilton road, Santo Formica makes the best subs and the list goes on and on

Hint: if you do feel obliged to eat here, there are often $ 1 off coupons in the free circular by the door. I saw it on the way out, not on the way in! Oops. Kudos for some fresh bread and a variety of ingredient selections, and a whole sub that was so long, I had to cut the whole thing open and fold it just to fit the entire package into the door of my mini fridge. But the hoagie was too plain boring in quality or taste. These subs were not quite sub par! Those who would call these the best subs in the world ought to step out of their tiny NJ world once in awhile and try a real sandwich at Primo’s Hoagies in philadelphia, where they have fresher quality ingredients and much higher quantity of food for the price. I didn’t appreciate having to repeat my order several times, but I suppose it was better than if I would have gotten the wrong item due to a mix-up. Furthermore, a whole sub ought to cost less than two half subs, plain and simple. The places that charge exactly double the price for double the roll are doing everyone a disservice. It is a waste of labor and paper packaging to have half sub orders cost exactly the same as part of a whole, while it may also deter customers from buying in bulk and driving up the business. And then with the $ 1 off coupon coming into play, I guess the shorts are even cheaper per inch than the longs. Ignoring the economies of scale, it all comes back to bite you in the end, Vic.

Awesome cheesesteaks. You cannot go wrong here. Get the extra hot peppers on the side too. Man they are great. In comparison to White House, I would say these guys are better.

We stayed near AC and this place was Unilocal recommended and right around the corner from our hotel. Set the GPS and WTF? Rounded the corner into a residential neighborhood then we come across this house with lots of cars??? Either there’s a raging keg party going on during the day here in random NJ that we were led to by the GPS, or we’ve found the place we were eating lunch. Sure enough, it was the latter. As disappointed as I was that we didn’t happen across a random daytime party, Vic’s was a pleasant experience. The subs are enormous(never say ‘ginormous’ — that term is irritating). We got a full-size steak and bacon… and provolone. And mustard. And bread. It ruled. The ingredients were fresh. The service was extra-friendly, and quick. The location was unexpected. As far as the sub, I ate half of it there and then, she a quarter, then a quarter later. Very very good subs. A+ I would have given it 5 stars but there was no kegger…

This freakin’ place is freakin’ awesome, with their freakin’ two foot freakin’ subs. It’s a freakin’ cool little freakin’ joint in a freakin’ old freakin’ house. I freakin’ love the freakin’ tuna with freakin’ provolone, or the freakin’ Italian. Their freakin’ turkey is freakin’ amazing too. They also freakin’ give you little freakin’ cups of freakin’ hot freakin’ peppers. It’s freakin’ yummy. …freakin’ _____
