ShopRite of Absecon

Seems to be an unorganized store. Doesn’t feel clean or look clean. Always crowded and isles seem to be cluttered. I was in the express lane with a loaf of bread cold cuts and chips while the two people ahead of me had full carts and the cashier did not say anything to them. Will not go to this location again.

GHETTO If i had to sum it up in 1 word. Fotunately this forum gives me alot of words.
The deli selection is limited to lower end mostly. When I asked for the ‘better‘ or ‘higher priced‘ the slicer guy kept trying to steer me to a sale brand… I had specific wants and he suggested honey ham when I asked for imported for my italian sub. He suggested shoprite brand even when I asked for high profit Dilusso genoa. He sliced everything way thick after I specifically asked thin. The clientel is alot of overflow from PVille & AC so I see why they cater to specific tastes. I am not saying I‘m above the clientel but I‘m just saying it‘s hard to find good meat & deli here b/​c they have to put out what moves. This is haphazardly laid out and the aisles are not laid out well by today‘s standards. The only pluses here is if I‘m on my way home from AC I pass this and its open late. Also, since they have the agressive ShopRite sales that the corp puts out this is a good place to run in, grab the essentials and sale items but I would in no way wish to shop here on a regular basis or for my better level of goods. The cashiers are usually friendly here. The cauc. middle aged Deli guy is a loser and shouldn‘t be in that dept.

Came here the day before the snow storm… got water and basics needs for the next day. he place is ok… this shop rite is pretty big… but all the items that is usually suppose to be in certain area is not which made me go in circles looking for it… the lines were crazy people were pushing and shoveling. There is about ten cash register including the self check out… this shop rite sells random things that you wouldn’t see in regler shop rite… there is a red box here and the parking lot is huge so don’t have to worry about no parking… yes for bathrooms…

Really disappointing, I felt as though I was walking into a Big Lots. Very difficult to maneuver. Found 2 jars of expired grey poupon on the shelf. I feel sad for my family and friends that only have this chain and Wal-​Mart as an option. The Shop Rite in SomersPoint is like a country club! Beautiful, organized, clean, uncluttered. If you have the time to make the drive.

pretty good grocery store in general, decent produce. the deli is a pretty good place to get lunch, the salad bar is quite good! the spinach asian dumplings at the deli are pretty tasty, not authentic Chinese style at all really but pretty good. they often have some sort of fish that is pretty decent.

Good selection but crowded and seems rather dirty because it is always so busy. Customer service desk was rude on every occasion I’ve ever dealt with them.
