Nice little resort villa about 5 miles away from the town.
Our 6 person, 2 bedroom resort was clean, but the carpets and furniture seemed a little old. However, it looked like there were some updates as the kitchen seemed really new and there was a flat screen TV in the living room. It was super cozy and I enjoyed my stay.
The resort had plenty of amenities (pool, golf course, private sauna) that I never got a chance to use, but still appreciated that they were there.
Located in a town of about 2000, I admit there’s not much to do in the area, but it’s within driving distance of some attractions– Honey Island Swamp, Insta-​Gator Farm, and the Abita Brewery are close-​by– New Orleans is about an hour away!
