Abita Springs Bed & Breakfast

Wonderful hide away. Rented the Pine Cabin which is tucked away with only access using a golf cart just for your own use. Ponds to fish in and a beautiful pool/​hot tub you can have for private use if you desire. Pine Cabin was quaint and cute. Saw lots of deer and rabbits. Loved it. You can even use their fishing poles if you don’t bring your own. Bring extra towels if you plan on swimming. Nice BBQ grills and so so pots.
Only complaints: garden tub jacuzzi tub only in cabin. I prefer shower. Coffee pot very small and needed to heat in microwave to get hot coffee.
If you are a nature lover you will love it. If you are expecting a bug free, cobweb free environment, you are unrealistic. This is in a remote natural area. Comes with the territory.
No tv. no phones!!! No children. No pets. There is electricity and very very hot water. Cellphones will work!!!
The people we dealt with were very nice, helpful and friendly. If you are looking for privacy and discreetness, this was what we got.
Great price considering all you get. They do have a basket of varied muffins and orange juice. Just bring your own food if you want more.
I recommend it and will be back.
