Turkey carved right off the bone with fresh chewy bread, you can’t go wrong at this gem! Unless you don’t have cash, then goto the ATM and get some because it’s worth it. I always get the thanksgiving sandwich no mayo, because I don’t like mayo, but come here and get that, you will love it!

If you are around town and need to get your Thanksgiving day Sandwich on then this is the place. From the homemade French bread to the hand carved turkey to the cranberry sauce. Fantastic. All of it. My 2 year old yells lets stop at the yellow place everytime we drive past.

This is one of the better sandwhich shops in the area. I have been frequenting for years and everything is very consistent food and service. Would recommend either the #1 or the # 7. Their fresh homestyle turkey make it like Thanksgiving everyday of the year and their chicken salad is great too. Any of their specialty subs and you won’t go wrong but will have a favorite. Get the fresh French bread. mentioned in other reviews it can get busy. But don’t be dismayed Call ahead if possible but there are no sluggish staff behind the counter they will do their best to get you in and out. the deli offers their meats and extras by weight as well.

Great little place for lunch if you work in the area. Cash only and closed on Sunday. I get the #9 always but everyone loves the #1 turkey sandwich. Something different than your typical sub shop.

I love the subs here on their amazing french bread. The turkey really is fabulous, tastes like it was just carved off. The french bread is divine. I don’t know about any of their other breads as I’m addicted to the french bread so that’s all I ever order. I have to say the only knock is that they’re a cash-only business. I almost never have cash on me, and I think they’d make a lot more business if they took credit/debit.

Thus place was really good, not great. The service was good. The bread was really fresh, but the sandwich overall could have been better. I ordered tge turkey club with everything, and was very surprised to see they didn’t add any extras(pickles, hots etc) the sandwich was very dry and I had to ask for a side of mayo, which I never eat. I’m sure it would have been better with the gravy which was given as a suggestion from a previous viewer. Not too sure if I will go back

J & L’s Deli makes the sub you want to eat. Roasting turkey everyday for delicious real roasted turkey subs with stuffing, cranberry, and gravy upon request, delish. The bread is soft and happy. The flavors are always spot on. It’s cash only but worth every penny.

The turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce sandwiches are AMAZING. The bread is fresh, and tasty. If you are a bread person you will love the bread they use for their«subs»(they may even bake it themselves, it sure seems it). They cook their own whole turkey’s and this remind me of home. The turkey is sooooo good! The sandwiches are huge and filling. I like mine with mayo. Definitely one of, if not my favorite sandwich I’ve ever had. EVER. This is also the only thing I have ever had here. It’s to good to order anything else.

I always get my lunch at J and L’s and I have to say it is the best! I love the Chicken salad sandwich with cranberry. The soup is great if you are looking for something light. They make all of their french bread right there and it is DELICIOUS. Good selection of chips/soda/tea. I work in the area and the women are always so friendly and helpful. Definitely have to check it out. Prices are very reasonable too!

I was told to go to this deli because it was phenominal and I got a meatball sub which was great. The only problme I had was with the service. I had asked very nicely for, salt, pepper, and grated cheese. Although I said it was to-go she told me the salt and pepper was on the table in a rude manor. They seemed very nice to the regulars but probably the worst serice I have ever had at a sub shop.

I have lived within a mile of this place for like ever and never really noticed the place. I finally went in a few months ago and have gone weekly since. They specialize in turkey, which they roast on premises, and they serve it at least a half a dozen ways. Really good and pretty fast. This is a lunch place, closed at 5pm most days, closed Sunday

This was the first sandwich shop that I remember getting the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich at. The turkey is prepared at the deli, so you get the fresh moist Thanksgiving day turkey flavor. The French rolls are perfect. Nice and crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside. They are fast, and the prices aren’t bad at all for such fresh food. The deli food is mostly just Dietz and Watson products. So if you do go there, I’d get the turkey, that is the only thing that stands out on the menu. It’s worth the drive from any of the near by towns if you’re craving a great turkey sandwich. It is like the Friday after Thanksgiving there every day of the year.
