Great shuttle service! We had our own bikes which they treated very carefully! From the time of check in at 10am I found the staff talkative and helpful. It was an hour + from Abingdon to white top. Dave(our driver) was informative about everything from restaurants on the trail, in Abingdon and other history. The trail comes out right at their shop so if you rent your drop off is feet away. Downtown is near the exit as well!

A smooth ride! This Bike shop has over 200 bikes for rental. So no matter you come with a team of 2 or 20, you would never be disappointed. The rentals are relatively cheaper than other bike rentals in Damascus. They have very limited options for new bikes and gears for sale. The owner of the store, and employees are very friendly. Their shuttle service can take you to either to Whitetop or Damascus and you can ride your bike down the hill. I had no problem with my bike on the way.

Biked the 17 miles! Together with a group of 20, we were shuttled to our starting points by this bike shop owners. They told us interesting stories along the way and introduced us to the area. The ride there was very comfortable, and they provided instructions to prepare us well for our bike ride, that was beyond gorgeous. If you can, You need to bike the Creeper Trail, don’t waste your life!

A really convenient store with about 200 bikes to rent and sell to anyone touristin in Abingdon, Virginia especially in the famous Virginia Creeper Trail. Friendly owner with an inspiring — a personal conversation with him won’t hurt.

These guys provide great service. They were able to get my group of twenty fitted with bikes, in the shuttles, and onto the Creeper Trail in around an hour(it’s a bit of a drive from Abingdon to Damascus). They have safe, friendly drivers and good bikes. I did have an issue with the brakes on my bike initially, which Randy, my driver, fixed for me so I could head down the trail. I had to stop again because the front brake was stuck(I had been squeaking down the Creeper Trail for quite a while at that point). But it was an easy fix, and it gave me no trouble after that. If you’re headed for Abingdon without a bike, I recommend this shop for your Creeper needs(just be sure and check your brakes before hitting the trail).

The men in the shop are extremely friendly, helpful and funny. They told us so many cool stories along the way. When my friends and I missed the destination and was late for nearly an hour, they went out to look for us and found us on the way back. Very satisfied!

The guys here were very helpful and friendly. They were very prompt and got us in and out of the shop in a very quick and professional manner. These gentlemen made sure that everyone’s bike suited them well. The quality of the bikes were really good which made my trail ride amazing. The shop also provided free helmets and a variety of beverages for people who were going on the trail.

This was my first time renting a bicycle from a local business, and it was undoubtedly a great experience. The gentlemen at the shop were very friendly and helpful in fitting my frame to the appropriate-sized bicycle, and upon loading the mountain bike onto a trailer I was quickly escorted to Damascus by van to begin my 17-mile ride back to Abingdon. The bicycle held up really well to the gravel/rocky trail, and no mechanical malfunctions occurred during the ride. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of service, and I would use this business for future rides along the Virginia Creeper Trail.

Today, together with a group of 19 people who were interested in experiencing the beauty of adventure tourism, I had the opportunity to cycle the bicycles provided by the Virginia Creeper Trail Bike Shop. I was extremely pleased by the bike number 29. It was comfortable, easy to use, and perfect for the Virginia Creeper Trail. I would like to thank the staff members for being extremely friendly, agile in our requests, and flexible with our schedule. I had an excellent experience thanks to their service.

Do not rent bikes from this place, there are many other shops in the area that are likely more reliable. They were disorganized and compromised on safety. I rented bikes for two families, specifically requesting helmets since we had several children with us, and we get to the top of the trail after a lengthy shuttle ride to find NOHELMETS. The shuttle driver said nobody told him anything about helmets. I’ve attempted to contact the shop owners, but have gotten no reply(funny how quickly they reply when they want to charge you for the service though). If safety isn’t that important to you, then I’m sure this place would be fine. If safety is important and if you have kids with you, my recommendation is to look somewhere else.

Great price, great service, provided exactly what we wanted. The bikes they rent you are great for the Virginia Creeper. The reservations worked perfectly. The shuttle left right on time. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The great price made it easy to leave our bikes home and just rent for the day. Bike rental also included free helmet and gel seat pad. You can’t go wrong with these guys. Don’t go anywhere else if you’re rolling up or down the Virginia Creeper
