Excellent customer service and great pizza! We’ll be back for sure!!! The supervisor was great. Jayde was her name!!! Wonderful staff!

Shout out to Papa Murphy for somehow developing a chain of successful pizza chains where no pizza is actually cooked.
You «take-​and-​bake» it yourself. Like you would from the grocery store, but unlike those pizzas you can customize it however you want within the limitations of Papa Murphy’s impressive-​enough ingredient list.
I’ll be frank, I don’t like this place a lot.
My wife loves it, which means I eat here pretty often because she’s an angel and let’s me pick where we go for dinner most of the time.
The pizza isn’t awful, I just don’t see the appeal. They give you a tray for you to bake on and it usually doesn’t take too long once you get it home. Sadly, the dough doesn’t taste very good. It usually comes out too doughy and reminds me of soft cardboard.
The cheese situation is pretty weird as well. I’m not sure what kind they’re using but I’m not into it. I’d be surprised if were 100% real cheese. Not awful but not great. Has a strange consistency.
The sauce is good, though. My wife likes to have the white and red sauces mixed together to form a pink sauce. It’s actually pretty unique and tasty. The manager had never heard of this before but apparently it’s a pretty popular request that she used to order all the time in California. I recommend it if you come here, because it adds a lot of redeeming value to the rest of the pie.
If you’re up for something different, this is a pretty cool place. I might sound grumpy but I don’t hate it. The people who work here are very friendly and happy to help.

Best pizza in Abilene! Generous toppings of your choice. Take it home and bake it fresh. We’ve ordered every Friday night for nearly a year. Only one mistake on toppings the whole year. If you want fresh, delicious hot pizza out of your own oven, pick up one on your way home. They have a drive through, have always had ours ready when we call ahead, and the owners are friendly, provide great service.

Great family owned place! They even made a heart pizza a week earlier then they were planning to, just for my little girls birthday. The pizza’s are so good and the dessert pizza’s are amazing.

So thankful to have papa Murphy in town. Had it twice and was great. Had a Chicago stuffed (was so good) and the a thin crust chicken, bacon, artichoke. Awesome!

So last night I got together with some friends to play a little Cards Against Humanity. My girlfriend, another friend and I wanted pizza to take to this game night and my friend suggested Papa Murphy’s. I’ve heard of them before, but never actually been to one.
So we went inside and was greeted by I don’t even remember how many people. All I know was there were a lot of them. Just standing around, starring, waiting for us to decide our order. Which took a bit as we had never ordered here before. After a good ten minutes of phone calls and discussions. We settled on an All Meat pizza, family size with a couples veggies on half of it. Oh and we bought a dessert pie to go with it.
Once we placed our order, they put it all together right in front of us and in minutes we were out the door. It was pretty cool.
So yeah it’s take and bake pizza, but that only means it’s nice and hot and fresh at home because you cook it yourself. And I’ll tell you. It was pretty good pizza. Better than some of the other fast pizza joints. Definitely not the best, but I would seriously order from here again. I missed out on the dessert (S’Mores) pizza, but from what I gather it too was delicious.

very interesting concept! probably the complete opposite of some where like little caesars where you walk in and leave with a piping hot pizza. here, you walk in and end up leaving with a pizza that has yet to see an oven! cook it at home to your exact liking! they have regular, gormet, thin crust, and stuffed crust meets calzone pizzas. the staff was very helpful and very eager to please. their family sized pizzas could feed at least 6 and i will probably be eating pizza for a week. but i dont mind because the pizzas are so darn good! yummy!
