Abilene Indoor Gun Range

4 Star rating for Inventory/​Selection/​Facility. 2 Star rating for prices. Their mark up can be a bit high, and trade in values are ridiculous. And no, I am not one of those people who expect retail value for my trade in. 1 Star rating for Customer Service. Quite possibly the first establishment where I have seen an employee berate a customer (more than once). There are a couple good dudes who work in there and I won’t single out the individual I’m talking about, but I couldn’t believe what I saw. I still shop there when I need to. But the flashiest establishment isn’t always the best.
EDIT NOTE: I have changed my rating from 3 Star to a 2 Star. I forgot about an situation that happened to me. Bought a brand new Glock and was anxious to try it out right then and there. The Pistol side of the range was pretty full, with maybe 1 stall left. I asked the manager, who I know, if I could go ahead and utilize the rifle side of the range since it can obviously withstand the ammunition and there was no one in there so it wasn’t crowded. He said it was perfectly fine and I went and set up. 2 minutes into shooting this poor excuse for a range master came in and was badgering me about utilizing the rifle side with a pistol. I explained to him I cleared it with the manager and it was less crowded in here. I might as well had been talking to the wall because he continued to hound me throughout my session. You do not distract someone when they are actively engaged with firing a weapon. It’s a safety concern. I finally got frustrated, packed up and left and haven’t utilized their range ever since.

Very helpful folks. They can handle the novice and the expert. They have two ranges and can accommodate all but shot guns. They have a rental program so you can try it before you buy it. Large supply of guns and ammo and everything in between.

Just moved to Abilene wanted to try out some guns i couldn’t buy in Cali, this place was great friendly staff, and the range is awesome. Can’t wait till i get some ammo so i can go back.

These guys are very friendly and willing to help. A shooting range is a shooting range so I’ll give them 5 starts for their service. I think it’s a 25 yard range. It’s a good place to shoot if you don’t feel like shooting outdoors.
