Tina’s Nails

I went into this nail salon just bc I saw it while visiting family. It was exactly 1 week prior to our wedding on the outer banks. I got a simple french manicure on my short nails & a pedi with a little star. My nails were gorgeous and lasted well past our wedding day! They were the perfect little touch to our wedding pictures! My toes lasted nearly a month! The place was short staffed with only one worker.
She took her time, was very friendly & sweet as can be with a packed waiting area. She handled the situation extremely professionally & kept everyone calm & happy. She engaged all of the ladies in the room in a conversation which was very fun.
I wasn’t showing but she saw the baby «glow» & asked about our baby. Our daughter is now 3. We’re coming down in 2 weeks to visit family. One of my first stops will be stopping in for my 3 daughters and I to get a replica mani pedi of my wedding nails. The price was also really good. I joke often about driving from Iowa to NC to get my nails done! I can’t wait to bring my girls in!

I had the worse experience here ever! Now, I am not a picky person, so you know it’s bad. I walked into the salon to check prices and they were pretty decent, so I got a pedicure and acrylics. You could tell that the woman doing my pedicure was very inexperienced. After she painted my nails, she used a paint brush to fix her mess. I could have stayed home and done that myself. The woman doing my nails stopped in between hands to help other customers that came on after me. Then two days later my toenail polish was peeling off in sheets on my toes and the acrylics were loosening up by the cuticles. I went in to get a refund and she insisted on fixing the toes, ignoring the nails. She told the pedicurist to just redo the nails that came off, but after arguing with her, they redid all of them. Again, two days later the toe polish came off again. What the heck? They must be watering the polish down because china glaze holds tight! Do not go here!

I got a gel manicure and the polish isn’t even to all the edges. She didn’t trim my cuticles well and those she did she made bleed. I never saw her clean any tools and she didn’t wear her mask. The price difference was not enough for me to ever go back, and the shape of my nails is terrible. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I had the worst pedicure at Tinas nails. It was quite painful. The girl scrapped the bottom of my feet until they bled and I asked her to stop. Two days later my feet are covered in neosporian and bandaids. I will not go back here and do not recommend it!
