Hampton Inn & Suites – Southern Pines-Pinehurst

An awesome place to stay. Our suite was great. Great towels and linens. Great staff. Very nice place.

I left my wedding ring next to the bathroom sink. I called back that night, as soon as I realized it. They say nothings been turned in. I called back the next day, nothing has been turned in. But they take down my number and say the Housekeeping Manager will be calling me. No call. I call again a few days later, nothing. I know exactly where I left it, and they don’t have it. Only explanation is that housekeeping decided to keep it.
Don’t leave things in your room, staff can’t be trusted to do the right thing.

Absolutely love this place! Rooms are very clean and spacious. Beds are super comfy and in addition to the free breakfast they also have free dinner provided from local restaurants mon-​thursday. Totally recommend staying here if you are in the area!

Sound proofing, sound proofing, sound proofing…
Was able to hear every little noise near and around my room. Conversation in the hall, clear as a bell. Muffled conversations next door, conversations next door on speaker phone. Conversations and footsteps upstairs… You name it.
Room could have used better heat insulation. The heat would get sapped right out the window… I haven’t had these sort of problems at other hotels, but I’ve been at other hotels that were dingy and nasty so… Not the worst.
In room microwave seems to be underpowered; 700W or less.
Complimentary Internet was slow at times, mainly during peak hours when everyone in the hotel would use wireless probably. Using the Ethernet cable would improve the sped for the most part.
Other than the negatives, the room was nice, bed and pillow was comfortable. Cleaning services were daily and they did a good job. Staff was friendly. Daily breakfast was ok.
Would come back again in the future. Daily breakfast is certainly a huge plus but would hope some of the items would be addressed in by that time. I was certainly able to get a good night’s sleep on occasion, but at the cost of running the heater near full blast, and at risk of noisy late check-​ins.

The Internet is so slow I can’t even do my work. and it’s been this way for two days… I will move tomorrow. .and I have 3 rooms here… other than that rooms are nice.
