If you are looking to stay in Aberdeen, Ohio, you are better off going the extra mile to Maysville, KY and look for lodging there. If, OTOH, for whatever reason, you feel compelled to stay in Aberdeen, you could stay at the Brown’s Motel. We felt compelled and did… but I would not do it again. But, if you do, be aware that the double bedded rooms are in an older two-story structure just to the north(right) of the more attractive one-story building with the office. The doubles are dank and dreary with that old musty motel smell. We moved to the new rooms and took two separate singles. The newer rooms feature fresh paint, a nice flat screen TV, a rusty shower curtain rod, scrawny towels, a bathroom with no ventilation except the small window without a screen, a bathroom sink positioned so close to the toilet you could use it as a counter top and was so close it interfered with your business, no easily accessible electric outlet and so much less. But, if you are looking for something really inexpensive, it may work just fine for you.
