Slice of New York Pizza

Very good pizza right near the cathedral for 2.50 a slice (cheese). It is new York style. I can’t find my way around this maze of a town but I can find good pizza.

To me, the kiss of death of any pizza joint outside of NYC is calling yourself A Slice of NY, et al so it’s with a skeptical mind I stepped into this hole in the wall directly across from Seville’s biggest tourist attraction.
BUT I must confess, they’re serving up a very respectable NY style slice!
Nice crust, flavorful cheese and a sweet red sauce all come together… I tried both a regular slice & jamon, both get a thumbs up.
No tables but they do offer stand up counter space with a lovely view… or take it across the street and grab a seat on the stone stairs and do some people watching.
Slices average around € 3
Overall a solid 3.5

A precioso pizza place run by a really friendly, Irish guy. There’s limited space inside, but there are tables on Called Alemanes which provide a great view of the Giralda & Cathedral. With slices starting at € 2.50, it’s worth it for the views alone.
Now let’s get on to the pizza! The pizza is simply brilliant! It’s simple hand made pizza, no gourmet ingredients, no pretension of grandeur. Just giant triangles of cheesy, crispy goodness. The base is light, but it still has some density. The tomato & cheese are well balanced & really tasty. One slice keeps you going, but always leaves you wanting more.
I love the fact that this New York style pizza place is just as it should be. Simple, quality & leaves you dreaming of your next visit!

Muy bueno para satisfacer el hambre rápidamente. El local es pequeño pero con una pizza sabrosa. La variedad bo es muy grande. Disfrutando de una pizza sabrosa estilo neoyorquino con la vista de la Giralda a sólo unos pasos de ti.

Aside from the great food the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful.

We found this place by accident walking around and looking for a place to grab a bite. Definitely loved the pizza. It tasted like actual pizza back home. Prices were good as well. The owners were really nice and they also recommended a local flamingo dance place to us as well which was great. Definitely would recommend this place.

Suelo ser bastante escéptico con los sitios que venden porciones de pizza, porque lo que venden suele ser una masa más bien tiesa que tenían congelada antes de poner en el horno. Este sitio, sin embargo, no está nada mal. Su ubicación, en plena calle alemanes, hace que esté especialmente frecuentando por guiris y dirigido a ellos, pero por otra parte puedes tomarte un trozo de pizza viendo la Puerta del Perdón.
El local es muy pequeñito, pensando más bien para que te lleves la porción por ahí, de manera que no tiene ningún encanto porque no está pensado para que te quedes. Vamos, que tira más bien a feo. Las pizzas las hacen ellos y los ingredientes son naturales, o eso dicen, pero el caso es que están buenas. Siempre tienen varias pizzas hechas que te calientan y van haciendo más a medida que se acaban. Las porciones son bastante grandes y cuestan entre dos euros y medio y tres. Con una porción estás comido, y si eres de mucho comer, con dos, pero comido y bien comido.
Tienen nudos de ajo, que no son más que lo que su nombre indica: un nudito hecho de masa con ajo. Están muy ricos.
