We should have known… go where the locals go. But we wanted a quick bite just down the street from our rooms and we came in because it was less crowded. I ordered the usual glass of sangria and he had a glass of red wine. With that, we also had some tapas: pork cheek, sirloin steak with salad and sheep cheese with crackers. They bring bread basket which they charge extra for(€.80) so if you don’t want it, make sure you refuse it before they set it on your table. The tapa prices were average at around € 3 per plate. The pork cheek was good for very salty. The steak is well done, so make sure to specify your needs. The rest of the food is ok. I should have checked but they charge € 4.80 for a glass of sangria that other restaurants would only charge € 2.50 for! And it’s not any special from what I’ve had so far during my travels. So while the food was just ok, service is average, the price for drinks is a rip off.

A few friends suggested that I join them at this restaurant for lunch. The service was good, but I cannot say the same for the food. I had the paella and a few other seafood tapas. I didn’t like any of the dishes and it did not compare to the quality that I experienced at other authentic Sevilla restaurants where locals go. This seemed like a typical place for tourists.

Excellent food just down a small street from Sevilla Cathedral. Menu available in English. Indoor and sidewalk café dining available but since it was 93 degrees opted for inside with a/c. Excellent service. Friendly. Free wifi. Oh, and great food. Ate the other plates before taking a pic. Would highly recommend this cod marinara.

Sometimes when you’re traveling you get hungry and walk into a tourist trap. This place is said tourist trap. Avoid.

I’m surprised why this place has had such bad reviews. I stumbled upon this restaurant when the place the concierge recommended was closed. I had the menu of the day which includes a drink, two dishes, and a dessert. The wine is decent and inexpensive. I had the bull stew which was hearty and delicious and the grilled squid which was also tasty. Too much food for me but I like a variety. The service couldn’t have been better. The waiter spoke English and they also have the menu in English. It’s definitely worth a visit. It’s my favorite place so far.

Probably the worst meal I had in Spain. The wine was TERRIBLE! The seafood paella was full of inedible shrimp, the bread was dry and stale and the rest of the tapas was just overly salty. The cod in tomato sauce was probably the best. The grilled vegetables were 75% potato. With so many options on the main drag I would steer away from here. Even the service was mediocre. Our waiter actually left halfway through the meal.
