AC Hotel Ciudad de Sevilla

Excelente hotel aprovechando mi membresia de Marriot. Hay siempre la garantia de un buen servicio. No esta en pleno centro pero tampoco esta lejos. Los taxis hacen la vida facil.
El sitio esta integrado a una antigua casona de lujo de otros tiempos. En general muy bien pero un upgrade siempre es bienvenido. Lo recomiendo de cualquier forma.

Came in for one night after arriving to Seville and one night before departing Seville. Being a platinum member with Marriott I was upgraded to a suite on the third floor.
The room had a separate living room, bedroom and the mini fridge that was stocked full of complimentary water, beer, sodas, 1 can of Prinkle chips and 1 chunk Kit Kat bar — which was yummy. Unfortunately, complimentary breakfast and garage parking was Not included as a perk even though they are considered to be part of the Marriott family. The style was boutiquish and hip and had a nice feel similar to the Renaissance family but on a smaller scale.
One con was the parking garage spaces which were so small I gave the male receptionist my rental car keys since there was absolutely — no way I was going to even attempt to squeeze my tiny Peugeot car into. We enjoyed breakfast one morning and it included cook to order eggs, ham and bacon, large selection of cured meats, fresh juices, yogurts, fruits and unlimited lattes.
The staff was very helpful in referencing questions about the massive fair going on, a great Flamingo show and they assisted me with US electrical adaptors to recharge my phone, tablet and back up batteries– which are a must when traveling a broad.
BTW the AC Brand is opening an Irvine CA location and will be breaking ground on construction soon!

I picked this hotel as it was from a chain that I recognize and have trusted in the past. It was also in a good location with access to key spots but in a quiet neighborhood.
The hotel was clean but showed signs of needing a refresh as there was plenty of wear on everything.
The restaurant and bar was all changed around due to a private function that night so we couldn’t have a quick snack and drink before heading out.
Overall I would say average for an AC, and would hazard it would be below average of back in a North American city.

Great, clean, modern, friendly, hotel. The location is not as close to everything as I would have liked. It’s in a residential part of town, but it’s a 20 – 30 minute walk to all of the touristy things. Free wifi in the lobby.
