Rincon de Pepe

I was looking for a place to grab quick lunch and ended at this restaurant in San Antoni.
I have to say, the tapas was delicious. We had the prawns, potato and spinach pie, olives stuffed with anchovies, choricito sausages, and grilled chicken for my protein fix.
I highly recommend having lunch here on a sunny afternoon to enjoy and relax.

LE restaurant de Tapas de San Antonio par excellence. Certes l’accueil pour paraître un peu froid si vous n’êtes pas un habitué et né vous avisez pas de vous asseoir sans y avoir été invité! Mais la nourriture y est vraiment délicieuse et dans la pure tradition des Tapas espagnols.
Je recommande fortement de prendre un amortissement de Tapas plutôt que des plats comme ça il y en a pour tous les goûts. Mes préférés sont les «fritos de pulpo», poulpe sauté dans de l’huile d’olive aux pommes de terres et légumes, «chipirones» mini calamars entier frits dans une panure légère ou encore les «mejillones» moules ouvertes garnies de tomates, oignons et assaisonnées d’une vinaigrettes.
Ce restaurant existe depuis des dizaines d’années sur l’île et est vraiment délicieux. La sangria est très bonne mais un peu cher.

extremely delicious and very spanish food. if you’re looking for authentic tapas in San antoni then this is the place to go. The service could have been a little friendlier but it could have also been the language barrier. definitely suggest the meatballs from here… I almost licked the plate clean.

Wir hatten auch einen Sitzplatz draussen bekommen und das Essen war klasse.

unweit des hafens in einer ruhigen calle liegt das rincon de pepe. wir stießen nach längerer suche abseites der ausgetretenen pfade auf dieses lokal. glück hat, wer einen der wenigen tische draußen bekommt.
angenehm anders ist das speisenangebot im vergleich zu den fresshütten am hafen, wo animateure auf touri-​fang gehen, damit du authentisch chinesisch oder andere welt-​küchen genießen kannst.
im rincon da pepe fanden wir die ibizenkische küche, die wir uns vorgestellt hatten.
die boquerones en vinagre (6,00 EUR) waren ausgezeichnet. dazu hatten wir noch frito di polpo (6,30 EUR) eine art salat mit tintenfisch und kartoffeln und gambitas fritas (8,50 EUR). alle speisen waren eine wirkliche gaumenfreude und wir genossen jeden bissen.

Couldn’t agree more. I spent 3 seasons in Ibiza and never knew it was there. I stumbled accross it one night years after and we go 2 or 3 times per week each time we visit.
The tapas and range is excellent.
Tip: Pop in early to reserve a table it gets very busy,
In this area there is only this and Sa Cappella which stand out. Altough the latter is up a hill out of the way a little in a converted chapel bu worth the trip all the same.

The only decent and halfway ethnic restaurant for miles. A tucked away gem in a sea of pasty white legs, red necks, rednecks and nylon football tops.
The range of Tapas is good considering they are an island, with all the regional specialities. However this is reflected in the price. But once you taste it you will not go anywhere else in this town
