Hace muchos años que venia al Rancho. Hoy tenian un servicio pesimo. Han tardado mucho entre plato y plato. Despues de 10 minutos esperando un cafe y una copa de brandy, les he pedido la cuenta y nos hemos ido.

I don’t eat much meat, so it’s terrifying how insanely tasty the secreto iberico was here. Holy swine. Ignore everything else on the menu and get the parrilada iberica — a giant plate of iberico pork, grilled to order, heaped upon french fries. It includes various cuts: presa, secreto, and pluma. Every cut is delicious but I was partial to the secreto. Secreto iberico refers to a cut of the iberico pig, hidden behind the shoulder, that boasts marbling to rival kobe beef. Secreto is to kobe is to otoro. The portion(1 kg) is enough to share between 4 people without feeling sick afterward. That’s 24 euros for a small mountain of expertly-grilled pork from happy, free-roaming, acorn-munching pigs. One can only dream that when she dies, she should turn into something so glorious.

El sitio es enorme, y se suele llenar. A veces llega a ser un poco molesto estar comiendo y tener gente esperando a que termines al lado de tu mesa. No se come mal. Mas que nada es carne lo que hay, y los platos son muy grandes, a veces llegan a ser exagerados. Los precios no estan mal. Es recomendable para ir con tu grupo de amigos o con la familia.
