Came for the Puente Nuevo, fell in love with the Tapas. You were right, Hemingway, Ronda is legit. So legit. The owners/workers here at Faustino were awesome. They greeted us, took our order, and even offered a suggestion(Champinones a la Plancha) we couldn’t resist. And let me tell you, from somebody who is not the biggest mushroom fan, THOSEMUSHROOMSWEREDIVINE. I couldn’t stop eating them… until they were all gone of course. We also ordered Flamenquin and a tapa of Manchego Cheese to go with a couple drinks – we had recently stuffed ourselves at Bar Maestro, so this was all we could handle. But for real, I can’t stop thinking/talking about those Mushrooms.

Even though we were kind of full from an earlier meal, we still wanted to have another quick bite somewhere. After wandering around we stumbled upon Faustiano. We ordered a couple of drinks, a Flamanquin(sausage wrapped in ham and breaded) and their Mushrooms ala Plancha(per the recommendation of the workers) which were easily some of the best mushrooms I’ve ever had. Mushrooms alone get a 5/5, and the service was friendly to us even though we were clearly tourists.

El descubrimiento, mi descubrimiento en Ronda, en este viaje. Una tabernita para autóctonos, donde«la Matí»(mujer de memoria prodigiosa), te atenderá de forma rápida. Clásica de vinos, y cerveza, de pincho de ensaladilla y/o aliolí, de chipirones plancha, de jibia, de champiñones a la plancha, boquerones, … y porque no un serranito bien cargado. Buen sitio, y muy recomendable.

Super. Kleine Tapas ab 1Euro(sind dann wirklich klein), so dass man sich einen Super Snack kombinieren kann. Wir empfehlen die gegrillten Champions.
