Muerde la Pasta is an all-inclusive Italian buffet inside La Zenia Boulevard shopping center. The business is part of the chain of some 19 restaurants located in several Spanish cities. There’s a wide variety of Italian themed food, all included into the price you pay at entrance: salads, pizza, pasta, meat, fish and desserts. All drinks are included too: red wine, white wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee, tea and juice. Sounds like fun but the unlimited abundance probably can never taste good. Don’t expect culinary miracles for the modest price you pay. It’s the choice of «lots of average food» here vs «just enough of awesome food» in many other places(for a similar price). I ate ribs and I was not impressed at all :) Pizzas are better. Both white and red wine tasted sweet(meaning too much sugar!). How can the only wine offered be sweet? I asked them twice on twitter about the wine they offer — they never replied. They are active on twitter and this silence makes me think the wine could be worse than I thought :) You better drink beer. Update Nov-16−2015: Muerde de la Pasta replied on twitter. Wine is supplied by the company called J. García Carrión(manufacturer of Don Simon juices and wines). There’s a variety of desserts — profiteroles are awesome. I visited two times(one two years ago and another recently) and I think the best use of the restaraunt is for family/friends gatherings with children. There’s a large playground(called Pasta Park) with climbing frames and slides — kids can play there for hours. The restaurant is quite clean and there was food in all trays(at least some). Can’t say much about the service — I didn’t have to ask employees for anything. Prices: Children up to 105 cm in height: € 1.85. Children 105 — 140 cm in height: € 7.95. Adults Monday-Thursday, Friday till 4:30 pm: € 10.95. Adults — Friday evenings, weekends and holidays: € 13.95. There’s plenty of food, you may find some that you will like :) Good luck!
