No complaints here! We picked this place based on internet reviews and enjoyed everything we had… which was way too much! Watch how much you order. Also, they re-use the sauce on some things which meant the flavours between dishes weren’t as varied as we might have hoped. Overall, no regrets coming here. Quick overview of the dishes we tried: the shrimp pappardelle was great; the hummus was underseasoned; the shrimps pil pil were a hit; the mini burgers were so-so — patty was good but bun was dry and not much sauce.

Gastro Tapas restaurant are all the rage this year. Tikus Gastrobar in La Cala is an addition to the genre. Perfectly located on the main strip of La Cala village, Tikus is easy to find although parking is tricky in season. You can dine inside or on the ample terrace and both are perfectly appointed. The menu is not too extensive but for me sufficiently varied. Iberian platters are very good with Bellota ham well cut and presented. My visit with my family we shared a few platters and a couple of excellent main courses — supported with some good wine served by the glass. Service was very good even though the restaurant was very busy. The meal cost approx. 70 € for four including the gratuity. Certainly worth the visit and I will definitely visit again!
